  1. McFadden is a legend. Stop being fucking controversial for the sake of it. Plentiful goals, ran along the fans, madman, great to the kids (I should fucking know, the man was a gent) What more do you want? Agreed with MelvinBragg.
  2. Don't want to create/pollute another thread with this. My sister's first well game (born in 2000, so since then) We were either drawing/losing at the interval, but she was greeting like fuck to go home, and so she, and we, went. In the second half we scored 4 goals. Who were we playing, who were the scorers, and what was the score? Edit to add - I thought it was Hibs for some mad reason.
  3. There's something lovely about this thread, being a fan of a "small team" such as ourselves. All of our cult heroes seem accessible, as you can see from the almost real time interchange from fan to legend, above. We may have the odd player who does well, like Faddy, but realistically, our legends are within chatting distance, house to pub, and I doubt many clubs could say that. It's just somewhat nice to realise that these people are... human, despite being to us as Terry is to a Chelsea fan, or Messi to a Barcelona fan, on an unachievable meeting level.
  4. Considering the fact that they're willing to offer mental wages which they can't afford to pay and stay above the line, especially.
  5. Can we just calm our tits a bit, and bide our time to see what McCall can get chooses to go for when the dust has settled? We didn't miss out on Mark Kerr, we didn't go for him as the manager, who at the end of the day, hasn't done too shabbily, felt that he wouldn't benefit the team. McFadden would be lovely. Not happening. Gutting, but we could get on with supporting the mob we have, rather than trying to replace them, considering we're top of the league the noo!
  6. I give the first team the berths, but swap Murphy/Ojamaa out for McHugh, as frankly, to me, he looked poor against ICT. A game against Dundee, going by their fans' opinions, and general impressions, may be the confidence boost he needs. Equally, it wont be a bad thing if he performs well in front of some people who may look to make him a scapegoat, as opposed to the diehard types who actually watch the reserves. I'm not one to boo players in person, but he needs a good first team performance sooner rather than later for some others, and perhaps, himself.
  7. Being somewhat younger than most of the folk on here , bar for my already stated McFadden moment, my cult hero was probably Richie Foran. I have no idea why, just thought he was brilliant at the time. Still like seeing him play for ICT.
  8. Definitely the one then cheers, I remember it now.
  9. Was it Beattie who scored the winner, after being brought on as a sub? Or am I thinking of a different game v them where he burst us somehow?
  10. An obvious as the moment is, McFadden's big daft grin after he got the captains armband after the hat-trick has always stuck out for me.
  11. Weirdly enough, I had them in it as well, but it was just too wordy!
  12. Cannae wait to hear the intimidating noise of feet marching out the stadium if we're 2-0 up at 60 minutes.
  13. It's the same as folk up here going to Hearts. Basketcase of a club with mental owners, but bumps up your wages...when you get them.
  14. Buggery, forgot about Easton. And yes. Bloody Colin Nish, every bloody time.
  15. Fair play. Yes. Dundee fans reckon that we'll beast them, as their left back is spectacularly slow, and they have the fear of Humphrey something awful. That, and they reckon that they're still a first division side, out of their depth, and a professional job from us should deal with it. They're more negative than us. Aberdeen... I hope we hump. Every damn time. Cannae stick them at all, due to their recent behaviour at boardroom level. They also look cack, with ideas above their station. Again. It amused me to see that we're still one of "those teams", that should be beaten, on P&B. Aberdeen fans especially are cracking for "We should be beating teams like Motherwell". The longer this attitude stays, the better for us!
  16. I'm not even worried about them as a team, if I'm honest. It's the atmosphere, and our dodgy tactics against them that will cost us. Basically, the game is there to be lost by us, as team v team I believe we are stronger.
  17. Ah, no. He just gets his prick out on the internet now.
  18. He also looks like Keith Lemon. Another annoying prick who needs to go away.
  19. Alans is always a plan, actually. If SAAS stop fucking me about then I'll be down there.
  20. There was some negativity earlier in this thread. How about this? Name one solitary current The Rangers Football Club PLC player who you are actually worried about. I have.......... no-one.
  21. Not going. Do not need the grief going from Larkhall to there. They'll fucking hear me if we score, mind you.
  22. Older, jettisoned by three spl clubs journeyman, versus, potentially even taking a wee step back to develop them, our youth players, I'd choose the youths over Mark Kerr every time.
