They're constantly patronising third division sides, saying how well they're doing, and that every game against Rangers is like a cup final for them. I love that they can't see the irony in what they then post about Rangers v Motherwell, in that the players will be hugely motivated for this (presumably because we're a higher league team...) and that they seriously hope to get one over on us.

I didn't think McHugh looked too great today? Looked slow to move into space, and slow to react. Not reading too much into it, as maybe he only looked poor (to me) because the rest of the team played as well.

Perhaps. I certainly don't buy that a professional should be as tired (looking?) as that after 6 games of a season, whether we're in Europe or the SPL. He still tries to run after everything, but I'm wary that he pulls something.

It's really fucking depressing that every thread on this forum winds up with a battle not for which player is best, but which player is worst. Both Higdon and Humphrey played a huge part in getting us to third place, and a cup final last season. Neither are shite. Neither are worldbeaters, but for fucks sake, the negativity is ridiculous.

Yep. And the same was said about Hutchison at the time. You never know how they'll come back, but he's certainly not a write off with a 3 monther, even after a shite season for injury.

I like the guy, but I think that may be a tad revisionist. He was sent off at least once for a mad challenge. As well as this, a number of times he was caught out thundering up the pitch rather than concentrating on his defensive tasks, at harmful times. One of the main reasons I didn't want him in at CB rather than RB at the time was exactly that. I felt that back then, he was very prone to brainfarts/rushes of blood leading to him either fouling or winding up miles out of position. All the best to the guy and hopefully a full and speedy recovery.

I was just about to say, it seems that they're just skipping the step of waiting for the player/manager to come to, and leave us, these days.
