  1. I'd buy a Motherwell and Liverpool one, as I support both teams. I daresay a Well/Leeds, Well/Man U etc fan would do the same. As to buying one for Levante, or some other team I'm likely just going to get angry at, after the fixture, hell no. And especially not Celtic. Reading McCall's interview, this "up and at them" approach worries me. It comes across to me as "hoof it to Higdon"
  2. This is a nice idea. Utterly, utterly mental, and unsustainable, so a definite no, however.
  3. To bring this back to ZFA, I've heard that one of the main reasons that he's dropped as far youth development wise from Spurs is dodgy hips, leading to dodgy-ish knees. Haven't seen him play a full game yet, but from what I've seen and read, he looks like he'll be a good prospect for us.
  4. It has done, relatively horrifically. My link
  5. Right. Gutted, but fine. Now we can move onto finding someone to fill that central midfield spot. (Or, of course, sign another young right back... )
  6. Can't wait for this one at all. Wee day on the bevvy for it tomorrow, and then the game itself.
  7. Well, aye. 5 games into the season, it's good to get more than one goal and a win. Builds a bit of confidence for the Euro games, and the next two home games.
  8. "Action failed: You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day"
  9. In dire need of a victory today to kickstart the season a bit. In theory, we should really take 9 points from the next three games. Europe's all well and good, but we need to get a good start in the league before the small squad issues start later in the year. Having said that, I'm going for a battling draw today. (feeling more negative than my earlier 1-0 prediction, but sticking with us getting a goal in off Higdon's arse)
  10. Next up, MJC murders Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy, because dreams are foolish, and shall never come true. You all should be ashamed for thinking that perhaps, just perhaps, a talismanic ex player, who has been clubless for months, and has nowt to lose with another wee period at our houfing, embarrassing backwater club, may just sign a short term deal, in order to get himself a move to somewhere more upmarket. I mean, playing here was obviously a bad move to begin with, and why, as a player who has any small fart of potential would you bother...?
  11. I almost want to make up some bizarre transfer story here, just to get onto another, newer topic.
  12. Are we not due one of the SteelmenOnline's resident gargoyles telling us how shite Humphrey is, and that with his presence, and Higdon's, we'll actually concede more at half time than we could ever score!?
  13. Can I just point out that a £5 only drop from Adult to concession is fucking terrible, when adult is as high as £25. For games like this, I'd rather they didn't even offer it, as offer such a derisory amount for a discount.
  14. Yep, that's about par for the course. I'm going with a scraped 1 nil. Nothing special, but enough to get our first win. Scrappy goal in off Higdons arse or something like that.
  15. The above is a good point actually. Last couple of times I've been at the Vue in Hamilton, there have been four or five of our first team there, as a group, and no-one has went anywhere near them to say anything, or get a photo, or anything like that, and that was over the course of two Champions League games.

    Adam Cummins

Hutchy - Best CB in the SPL for me. Raw, but with indubitable talent. Cummins - cracking against Pana. But could be a poxy game, or may actually have what we need. I've been wary of guessing on one performance since Danny Murphy v Rangers. I'd like to see him v St Johnstone because I think that he's going to have a degree of hunger to prove himself as worthy of being in the first team that a lot of the 'established' mob aren't, what with the Champions League distraction. I am, however, shocked and impressed at McCall giving him the chance.
  17. We have a chance against this mob. They are not vastly impressive, and while I see a win v Barca away, trust me, from the outside looking in, it's the same as a win at Parkhead. Dubious, but do-able, you would hope. They'll likely edge it, but realistically, they are no better than either Celtic or Rangers last year, and arguably weaker, and we were clearly the best of the rest. There is a very solid chance, over two legs, that we can do this.
  18. Steelboy is correct. Kills me to say it, but every word of the above is true. Especially the point about the opposition allowing us areas of play.
  19. *every game which has been played, is being played, or will be played. Regardless of what happens, I will shaft it with my boundless, uncontrollable, and almost orgasmic negativity. However...
  20. Agreed, and to a point, I don't have an issue with this style, when we're playing in the Champions League. It does, however, wind me up when we played either half of the Old Firm.
  21. Big Randy for two cracking saves to keep it respectable. Although, in retrospect, I may have chosen Cummins on another night. He'll dae!
  22. The 14 SPL goals tend to have that effect. What the fuck do you expect Motherwell to be able to get up front which is better?
  23. Aye, what is the kick-off time? I've seen 6.45, 7.45 and noo 9.45
  24. 4-0 Motherwell. I'm away to Newcastle this weekend and we always cuff folk when I'm away
