  1. Yep, if I've got money. The season ticket is rather challenging at the minute.
  2. Right enough. It is, however, wee things like that which keep him (thankfully) a Motherwell player.
  3. I find that Hutch is also a lot calmer. Much as I like Saunders, I feel that he is very prone to rushes of blood, and from that, the odd mental decision. Entirely seperately, I just worry that the idea of Forbes and Jennings as a midfield partnership may be too immobile.
  4. Yep. It's entirely fair enough. I wasn't trying to criticise them, as much as stating that I enjoy the atmosphere these folk are creating. Definitely lifts the middle of the stand, even though they choose not to participate.
  5. Thank fuck for the singing mob. I sit in the middle of the East, and bar for hearing them, and about two songs a game, it's deid. Love the Keith chant.
  6. In all fairness to our passing game, at least we didn't rattle it back to the keeper every third pass. Hearts were hellish for that all day.
  7. Nicky Law. He was incredible after Black went off. (and very good before, but less space to make an impact). Hateley was also superb. Bloody spelling mistakes
  8. Thought we played well today, but I'm very much of the opinion it was headed to nil nil until that wee animal Black got himself sent off. As soon as he went off, Law ran riot across the midfield.
  9. +1. I'm not a big fan of Hately in the midfield, but he's the best option for cover at the moment.
  10. Hearts will be an absolutely hellish game in terms of trying to get a confidence boost, without the fans getting on his back, because he's not a physical monster to compete with their back line. He needs time, and the Hearts game, barring him doing something special (entirely possible) shouldn't be one to judge him on this early.
  11. I think he eventually signed for a Chinese team.
  12. That's a good point actually. If I had to pay for an adult ticket this year, I wouldn't be able to afford the extra money until mid/late Autumn, and would have lost any value that a season ticket gives. It is a massive jump. A Rangers fan and an Accies fan I know were both complaining that they can't get student season tickets. Does anyone know if we're relatively uncommon in having that option?
  13. That's a good idea, in theory. I know a few folk who could make, say, 12 games a season, but no more. The issue is, which pay at the gate prices do you pick, or would you take an average? Because depending how it worked, in terms of averages, it would possibly work out cheaper (for the fan, and worse for the club) to get that ticket, and only use it for the 'bigger team' games, and then paying as you went for St Mirren etc, as opposed to buying a season ticket. Or is there a "standard price"? I genuinely don't know, as I've not paid in for years.
  14. That makes sense to me. We do seem light on the experience up front.
  15. I made a self referential comment, as a joke, and then proceeded to make a point below that, in the same comment, regarding the topic at hand. I apologise for offending you, and my evidently horrific, and nonsensical attempt at self parody, of my ridiculous moment. (Not that I don't stand by my opinion of Forbes). I would say, however, that, in drawing more attention to the comment, you disrupted the conversation more than I did by adding a slight aside to my comment relevant to the thread. *Swearing at you for effect*
  16. Well, in all fairness, Sutton is over 6 foot. He'd be a favourite.
  17. I quite liked Mehmet, despite him scoring a few against us, but I'd really rather not recreate a St Mirren attack, so hopefully a loanee.
  18. Was saying it ironically, with the second part of my post being the serious part. He is actually a god amongst midfielders. I genuinely don't know why Barcelona don't have their eyes on him. McCall is deluded to keep him on the bench.
  19. Forbes. Although in all seriousness, the reason I don't go to away games is the price. Not willing to pay 15 quid (or so) for a generally rotten St Mirren v Motherwell game, when I already endure at least one, often two, at fir park.
  20. McFadden, for the kid's table
  21. It's my fault. I didn't realise he was now a rangers player! I reckoned the thing holding Levein from picking him was his team rather than ability, assuming that he'd benefit from preferential old firm treatment before he'd even kicked a ball for them. But as he's a rangers player, the point was useless (So now my thought is that he'll feature in the next Scotland squad by dint of playing for the old firm)
  22. I hold to the thought that if Lee Wallace had got the Rangers move, he'd be in the Scotland squad.
