  1. Could well be the final ingredient in our defensive cocktail.
  2. I could spend hours on this site.
  3. Hearts, more than likely, to add to their spiralling wage bill.
  4. It's a great word. I nearly just commented to point out that it was there.
  5. The problem with his comment about them being more generous is the implication that they care about playing every other team in the league. They're never happy to have got a good win over us, or Hibs, or anyone else; just that they've now got three more points than the other side.
  6. I'd love Gunning back on a temporary deal, never mind a full blown contract. If the kid's got any sense, he'd drop out of that basketcase club asap, and try and build a career where he's even vaguely recognised as existing.
  7. Fair play haha! I know what you mean
  8. Is that not a wee bit harsh? It's a transfers thread, so is it not for any thoughts of who may come in and what they may do? Or is it purely sourced speculation? Not criticising, I just genuinely don't know!
  9. I wholeheartedly agree that he's shite. I just think we'll wind up with him.
  10. As I said elsewhere, I'm vaguely gutted that Accies went down. One of my best mates is an Accies fan, and the derby days, however shit the game was, were always excellent. New Year at his bit was always a belter of a two day party. That, and I have a storming hatred of Motherwell v St Mirren games. They always suck to watch, we usually get beaten, and just generally, St Mirren to me are a bit of a.. nothing.. team. Just there.
  11. I think the problem with this poll is that it comes down to, generally (and definitely for me) Best - McGhee Favourite - Butcher.
  12. I've got to agree with the weird feeling that we'll wind up with Fleck. (As a winger). Absolutely no idea why, heard no speculation, just reckon, and have done for a while, that we'll have him next year.
  13. I hated doing this, due to his attitude in later times, but McGhee, at the time, had us playing fantastic football, got us third place, and in all honesty, set up the run that we've had going since, and is the only choice for me. Terry Butcher should get an honourable mention for keeping the club alive, though, and I enjoyed having him as manager.
  14. I'd greatly prefer to see him become the 3rd choice centre half, and mainly do coaching, and the like.
  15. Just having a wee look at some of the links from us to Dumbarton, player wise. Almost seems as if they're acting as a semi-feeder club.
  16. Curier? Honestly? Madness. Higdon, I wouldn't complain about, or Duffy (never afford him).
  17. Big guy, him. Seems to have scored a couple as well.
  18. My issue with Humphrey in the centre forward position is that I find he is more effective knocking it past/ running on past a defender, as opposed to actually taking it past him, using straight running, and a touch of trickery.
  19. I've recognised his name, which was one of the reasons I posted.
  20. I must apologise if this is an inappropriate place to put this, or indeed I shouldn't start a new topic on it, but it's the most effective way I can think of. I'd love to write for one of the Motherwell fanzines, as I have been an avid buyer of both for years, and I've had a few different views from what is expressed, but thoroughly enjoyed the articles, and would love to be able to contribute.
  21. Sutton going to Hearts... I would hate him to do well there. Would love him to go anywhere in England, and do incredibly. I can't argue with the wage rise, and everyone, as Well fans, should applaud his return at Fir Park, unless he says something derogatory, or until he does something which affects us negatively. (In my opinion, clearly) I am forever angered by how we treat Lee McCulloch. I will not, for one, boo him, whoever he turns out with, until he dives, makes a comment, halves a player, or something similar. At that point, he becomes just another player.
  22. I'm gutted they've gone down. My sole football supporting (good) mate is an Accies fan, and I've spent many a derby game having a few drinks with him and his wee contingent. That, and I f*cking hate Well v St Mirren games. So the New Year Derby may be a new year long lie for me.
  23. A rather weird one. I'm perfectly fine using h*n and t*m, but only in conversation, and even then, only with appropriate people. Wouldn't shout it at a game, and I've never dropped the choice f word for Celtic fans. Sh******gger, on the other hand, I'm more than ok with.
