38% possession. I think I read somewhere that on average the ball is in play for about 60 mins per game. If that is the case we only have the ball for 23 mins per game and I’d bet half of that is in defence and the goalie.

When we the last game we had over 40% in a game. You keep giving the opposition the ball then they have more chances to score. How simple is it!!

Manager bottled it against bottom of the league and went defensive with 10 mins to go. His subs everywhere are shocking

Better than Ryan Jack?

I have been vocal over the last couple of weeks about the manager and some of the players but credit where credit is due, a clean sheet and a lot of hard work, especially after Wednesday, I thought we deserved the 3 points. Honking first half much better second half. still think the manager is making so mistakes with players playing in the wrong positions and the tactics but all that matters today was the 3 points. On a separate note I thought the fans today, when we subbed Tavares, was a bit of a poor show. He’s shocking and played out of position but the reaction when getting taken off was unnecessary (IMO)

We are a terrible watch. How many games can you say have been enjoyable this year. Hibs away and United at home in the cup. That’s it.

Why was he made captain in the first place? Just adding unnecessary pressure on him. Good player aye. Mature head on him aye. But there is no need to make him captain.

Acknowledge your comments, however, IMO the time is ticking on the WS for actions. I was against the summer investment, however, again IMO, people were to quick at the investment figure only and not other benifits that might have transpired. As I say I was against HIM as an investor but if someone comes along as with another investment offer then there is more to an offer than just the starting figure.

I think praise and thanks has to be given to life long Motherwell fan that has worked effortless for years at our club. Anyone that dedicates that much time should be well remembered. Yes mistakes have been made and things could have been handled better but over a long period of time this is going to happen. Anyone that looks at his time at the club as a complete negative needs their heads looked at.

Is there any update from the WS about any new investment coming into the club? 3 months since the WS issued the plan and objectives and just wondering if there is any update?

They also had a manager that got a cut of transfer fees so their Crown Jewels were sold on the cheap so he could get a cut before he was sack

David with all respect, this example seem full of hypotheticals: why would a tech company pick us over all the other clubs? where have the figures came from? no company is going to give away income of £150k in both cases. I love Motherwell but if you were wanting to showcase your produce you would try for a worldwide know club. 30% of the saving on injuries that’s just nonsense

None of that sounds great at all… we are now offering free advertising, percentages of our transfers, part of our end of year profits, some of the revenue from renting out our facilities all to try and gain investments. I do look forward to reviewing the business plan in the forthcoming days.

I’m failing to see why someone would invest to get a “share of the revenue generated”. What does that even mean. Say I wanted to invest £100k into the club what revenue do we generate to allow an investor to get return on their investment? im not trying to be difficult or controversial but that just sounds a lot of buzz words and convoluted statements. what is the WS offering an investor to encourage them to invest in us?

In my opinion, the only way the WS can generate substantial increased revenue is for investment and not increased members. investors will want something in return for their investment. What are the WS offering in return? Shares/percentage of the club? Is that not the same as EB is offering right now?
