  1. I personally hated the attendance last night (prob get a kicking for this comment) There i was bricking it, with no nails left, while two women talk all game behind me about shite, the row infornt had a wee boy that needed a pee every two mins, therefore, seen about 85min of the game. These 'part time' or 'day out' fans are a waste of time, they come and go without a care about the club, fans, players, managers, until the next big night. I would have been happier with 5k loyal fans cheering on the well.
  2. some bookies are offering the same price to qualify and to win after 90mins I'd be to qualify all day long gives you more of a chance look at www.oddschecker.com
  3. I buy the strips, have many t-shirts etc, and never wear them Love the clubs colours and would have to say I would never want the team colours to change
  4. Total banger!!! he's a rangers/hearts fan (in that order) and he knows if we win tomorrow night, the spl get the 2 champions league places back in 2011 - 12 season, i.e. giving rangers a better chance of getting into it. He's a first class fanny not kidding on
  5. would be a great signing for us, no question ok his form has dipped, but could defo regain it surely if hamilton and paisley scum could sign him, we surely can afford him
  6. Church - When does your bus leave, hope your putting some pictures up and reg. updates
  7. Cheers Guys, hope we can get something and bring it back with us
  8. Anyone know how many tickets have been sold to date? and the proposed number going?
  9. They only reason they bother is because the more fans that go the less the club need to pay, as part of the fans cost is to cover part of the clubs cost. You say additional cost for transfer and accom, if they are direct flights then the transfer is 10 mins from airport - hotel, 5mins hotel to ground, surely a bus company could be used at a very competitive rate. Am going on a stag do with another 21 guys and its costing us £25 for a bus down to newcastle, drivers digs and home Thats my opinion and am entitled to it, as are you. I know a pilot very well and discussed this with him last night and he commented the cost of chartering a flight is not as expensive as it is first thought. Am not having a go at the club at all and are grateful they are putting this option on.
  10. What I mean by 'allow' is that many of people have stated they can only get one day off work, etc. I know there are other routes to get to odense and they are not stopped anyone booking off their own back, all I meant is that for many motherwell fans the charter flight is the only option, however, to pay double the price, is that reasonable, thats all am saying. I know its more expensive to book a chartered flight, as you detail, however, if booking a hotel in block booking does that not reduce the cost, as it looks like am paying much less that the chartered option. Also, as I said previously, I expect to pay extra but £200 - £300 per head does seem very expensive. Am not having a go at the club as they could easily not put on any charter flight, mean many will lose out
  11. Paying for someone to do the work - I arranged my whole trip in 15mins and never left my seat at work. Am not having a go at the club, would just like them to explain why it so expensive. I dont know how many seats are one the flight, however, say its 100 seats, that means its costing just under £60,000 to take 100 people from glasgow to odense, for an over night, and you dont think thats very very expensive?
  12. May feelings also, I feel we are getting the bad end of the stick and the club should be doing far more to allow more motherwell fans gain the experience with traveling with motherwell
  13. Can ANYONE within the club tell us why all three European away legs have cost between £500 - £600 to travel with motherwell? The last two organised chartered flights, the cost to fly was between £500 - £600 with no over night, granted this away trip is including an over night within its price. Why is it so expensive? I understand the meaning of a 'chartered' flight, i.e. a flight route been orginised to accommodate a specific date, time, and destination requirement, however, on the above prices you could have a week in U.S.A or long haul (granted an over night watching Motherwell is much better). Is anyone else concerned about this cost? I have booked up for 2 days, 1 night in odense and its costing me under £300 for the following: Return flights to Copenhagen Return train Copenhagen - Odense 1 night in decent accom.
  14. Nope, not a hope in hell will the BBC or a another ignore the Old Firm, Celtic this time, and not show them on the tv
  15. I think we could take more than 750 fans over there, hope we do should be a great trip
  16. I agree it will depend on the celtic game, however, I also think the BBC should ignore them simply because of celtic's ignorance in not allowing the BBC radio coverage of the home leg. It will aslo dempend on Danish tv, if there is another game they want to show then they will pick that one and not our game. This happened when we played Aalesund, Danish tv showed Molde v Stuttgart, therefore, it was very hard to find a live stream I am going to Denmark, as are many, so am sure the motherwell fans staying home will get min by min updates from us that are there pride'
  17. The noise wasnt that great on thursday night due to the allocation of seats. What i mean is the usual singers could not sit together as someone had bought a seat within the 'singing' end, therefore, there was no solid singing unit sitting together. Also, there was alot of 'part-time' motherwell fans there that dont have the same passion. Are you likely to get up and sing if the others round about you are talking about what there missing on tv? pride'
