  1. Flights sorted, need to book hotel so that can get visa application away today/ tomorrow, can anyone recommend hotel other than Hilton?
  2. So back to the question, is anyone else going?, can anyone advise about visas? And what hotels is anyone using?
  3. sorry, flights actually worked out at £665 each, still cheaper than subsidising the team and officials, to go !!
  4. anyone with tips on getting Russian visa would be appreciated, I see there is an embassy in Edinburgh
  5. check BA website we are leaving Edinburgh 18:30 on Tuesday, getting to Krasnodar 10:30 on Wed, leaving Sunday afternoon getting back to Edinburgh late Sunday night. Just checking Hotels now. Charter with club I believe is £1,250 each, 4 star hotel in Krasnodar is around £65 per night B&B for two of us (e.g Hilton garden), not booked anything so far, still checking. Visa next on list, although on holiday just now not back till Saturday night !!
  6. flights were £650 each return, not sorted visa yet, next on list. Flights good connections not waiting for ages at Heathrow or Moscow either way. Much cheaper to come back on Sunday so making a holiday of it.
  7. just booked for the boi Louis and myself BA flights Edinburgh via London and Moscow, going out Tuesday evening, getting in Wednesday morning, coming back Sunday, making a holiday of it and hoping to see a bit of that part of Russia. Anyone else doing same?, what hotels are good?
  8. we only announced he was likely to sign, so that Dougie Imrie would sign up at Morton
  9. it might hold the game up a wee bit
  10. Well done to the manager, seems like everyone wants to play for him and us rather than all the other so called big teams in Scotland. Big Mick will do great with Hutchy, brilliant partnership, get Hutchy on an extended deal and then we could sell him in summer for £15M (better than the tosser who went for £12.5M)
  11. Would hate to lose Hutchy, but if we get a good fee £1M+, then it would make it bearable
  12. Guessing that this will pave the way for Hutchy to go to Middlesborough ?
  13. Some of us slighlty older lads enjoyed it too !!!
  14. he has out shone everyone this season, thats about 44 goals in two seasons, Hartson, Sutton etc never managed that in their time with old firm, what does he need to do to get recognition, we need to accept what he is, a goal machine, lets have a party for Higgy
  15. yep defo 7:30, even less time to get up and get a pint before the match !!
  16. So getting a free ticket is too expensive????
  17. Remember we are 2nd in the league, scoring goals& have a certain Faddy. We are a decent draw for TV . . . but still can't get people to come along to Fir Park in numbers (even when giving out free tickets), almost 9,000 at midweek Thistle v Morton game. The board and the team must be wondering what we need to do to get people down to Fir Park, more goals scored this season (again), second in the league so far (best of the rest again), big HIggy top SPL scorer, on track to beat our highest points total (which was last season), prospect of European football again. If people supported team by turning out then we could keep our decent players and attract others.
  18. McCall shouted him over to dug out and had a wee word with him, I'm in main stand this year and saw it, was a quiet word but you could tell McCall wasn't happy with him
  19. Agreed. He almost lost it just before half time, but let Hutchy off with a few dodgy dive-in's and Lasley tackles, but just saw Wanyama's studs on Randolph's back in box near the end of the game which he should have been booked and sent off, but overall thought he did ok. Kayal tried to kick everything that moved and Lennon hooked him early second half, so overall thought he did ok
  20. seriously, were you watching a different game or are you sh**gin him? Great finish but . . .
  21. Law gets it for me, but word for the defence Cummins and Hutchy hardly gave them a sniff and as for Faddy, reminded me of Davie Cooper, when was the last time we had someone who wound up the opposition fans, his gesture towards them in main stand in the second half was a joy, he looked head and shoulders above everyone, just wait until he is match fit !!
  22. first time in ages that all stands were (trying) to join in with the bouncy corner songs, got to credit them for the atmosphere and also staying behind after game to keep singing
  23. Defence played well tonight, to limit them to only a few chances was great, young Cummins and young Hutchy were excellent
  24. had two Shellic fans siiting in amongst us in main stand, they were very quiet !!!!
  25. cheers steelmaninOZ just watched and re-lived the famous victory. Did anyone see Wanyama's high boot on Randolph and he had already been booked !!!, never saw that at the game
