Come on boys, what the fuck does Andy Halliday know about player value? No more or less than the rest of us, no club is going to be putting any stock in what he said what so ever, calm the beans.
This is my biggest gripe with VAR. Instead of hoping VAR steps in, the ref should be able to request it. He should be able to say "I need another look at that". The rules around VAR seem to involve more bureaucracy than South Lanarkshire council.
I would imagine the club will be not just looking at the playing benefit of keeping him, but the swell in seats being filled every game and the difference that makes to the coffers. I would be shocked if we didn't offer him a bumper contract and wouldn't shock me if it was the highest we've paid for a manager.
First goal shouldn't have happened, the free kick right before was moving before hit and it was also offside.
We've been very wasteful in possession, too many passes giving the ball away.
Stama back to his usual of being a yard short.
Frustrating.
The problem is we are trying to play football at a higher level than the players are capable of playing it. This is why Scottish football looks as shite as it does. You can only do what you can with what you've got, so most teams up here play the way they do because the skill level is limited. You canny polish a turd.
Going to be an unpopular opinion but it's mad that semi finals get played at Hampden. Between ourselves and St Mirren it won't even hit half full.
As a purest I don't think semis should be there at all, should be for the final. Guess the SFA need to get their money's worth.
