Superb for his age. Probably a little bit ahead actually. Seems to have built a decent understanding with McManus already, and he ticks all the boxes - positioning, timing, happy with the ball at his feet, aggressive without being a liability. He's better in some of those aspects than others, but he seems like the type to work on the things he lacks (not really basing that on much other than his few interviews), and that's all I'd imagine most fans at our level would ask from a player. I'd say along with Cadden he's our next hope to bring in some decent money after a year or two where we really benefit on the park.

Interview with Luka up on the Youtube channel. I can actually sense the impending rage from Steelboy when he sees the video and starts wondering if Luka has eaten Michael Higdon

That will be Martin Grehan and Nicky Devlin I think? I'm sure Grehan wasn't even "lower league", I'm sure he was playing junior football? I think Nicky Devlin had a bad injury that really halted his progress...but I might have made that up.

It's my entry into this Worlds Worst Attempts at Joining the Dots Competition. Field is strong though, I'll be lucky to make top 10.
-
Just quickly popped back to reiterate just how clear that is.
-
Yup that is definitely cleared up. Yes siree. All those dots join up perfectly. So clear.

Let me be the first to welcome Brad to the club.

Excellent Googling. Perhaps a slight tangent to the topic, but regardless I'd have said she's fairly obviously mixed race? Still a distant second to the bold McQueen though.
-
Once you realise that Abdo is short for Abdolmajid, I think you might struggle to get her to wash it off.

I think we're all missing the key issue here, which is Hayley McQueen on SSN. The fact of the man responsible being Gordon McQueen, is one of life's deepest unsolved mysteries.

We've all heard of agents using some strange tactics to get business done, but publicly announcing that you don't think your client is good enough is a new one for me. Seems it's worked as well...fitba' is truly mental. Neil Doncaster should take note of how it's done...he's been trying to generate money and interest in the Scottish game by telling everyone it's rotten for years, and got nowhere.

Replying to a post you agree with and you still have to do it with a smartarse, confrontational tone. Unreal. No wonder everyone thinks you're a bellend.

Having a system of play that the kids and U20's play, regardless of how impressive or effective it is, is utterly pointless if the first team don't play that way. All that will happen is the 3/4/5 youngsters who go on to become first-team professionals with the club will be drip-fed into a side that doesn't do what they have spent the last 4 years learning. The only other way it would see long term benefit is if the bulk of the U20's became the bulk of the first team, and that's obviously never going to happen due to the financial limitations of how many we can offer contracts to. The style of play has to be consistent throughout the club for anything to be gained from it, starting with the first team and filtering down.

Scottish League Cup - Second Round Celtic V Motherwell Wed 10 Aug 19:45
Al B replied to Yabba's Turd's topic in Club Chat
I'm sure McGhee said in one of his pressers that Blythe arrived at Fir Park with an existing niggle, and he wanted to get it cleared fully so he could push him properly. -
It's like Italia '90 all over again!

It's certainly further justified the fact that taxi driving is a profession completely undeserving of tips, and on the few occasions I have to stoop low enough to share a car with one and use their "service", can continue to wait for my exact change to the penny safe in the knowledge that I'm doing the right thing. Thanks CMWellfan.

As others have said, not sure you're grasping the fact that we're actively trying to sell him, not keep him. Just has to be for the right price.
-
I think what he's getting at is if there were purely pre-season friendlies he'd have had his operation already and been up and running for the new season, but because we had important games it was delayed to make sure we qualified, and therefore he's mow missing. Im not saying that's the case, just I think that's what the above poster was maybe inferring.

The Motorpoint logo looks so much better on that backdrop without the blue. Really wish we could have that colourway on the kit.

The thing I'm most happy about with out recent additions, is that in Richard Tait we now have a full-back who when we get a throw-in, goes over and takes the throw-in, without needing 8 days to do it.
-
He needs to keep his game simpler if he's to play in the middle. He can just about get away with losing posession if he's wider, but the amount of times he does too much and gets caught would absolutely kill us in the middle of the park.
-
That's.... weird.

And I doub't he'd be waiting for a phoncall this week, from someone he sees every day.
