All things considered, only a matter of time before we catch Hearts.

So, there's actually people on here saying they wouldn't take the SPL's top scorer of all time in the side, cos he might be a wee bit fat? Guid yin. He could be 25 stone for all I care, he's scored 160-odd goals in this league. 160-Odd. 160 A HUNDRED AND SIXTY

Aye but the Daily Record published an article with the headline "GREGGS IN TALKS WITH SPL OVER PLANS TO TAKE CONTROL OF HALF-TIME PIE MARKET" and then finished the same article with "A Greggs spokeswoman said : "we have no plans to supply the Scottish Premier League" It's not the clubs job to sweep up after that shite.

I agree. I won't rest until they confirm every single team that we aren't playing. Every one.

One look at his arm and shoulder would suggest he is down at the gym to use the sauna and steam room!

Cheers! I like you .

If you think pointing out things like that comes down to pedantry then this is a pointless discussion in the first place. You'd be great in a board meeting..."well Mr Army im not sure this would be a viable option because of x/y/z" "right then ya pedantic prick!" #haveacokeandasmile

You're aware that if we released him we'd still have to give him those wages? So you're idea would actually cost twice as much. I've said it too many times now....the thought of fans controlling the club makes me shit my pants.

The "Penalty" brand have quite a few templates that would work well for us - HERE. Particularly like this one...

I've only just found out that it isn't a ship, so I don't really care either way.

Journeyman my arse. I accepted a while ago that he wouldn't be here next season, and im as disappointed as anyone that he's chosen his current destination, but he's 25 years old and has only made more than 10 appearances for two clubs that he's been employed by in his whole career, so let's not confuse the issue by talking complete shite eh? He's hardly Jim Hamilton so let's not have bullshit clouding our vision. Oh and just to add, if anyone thinks any club in the Championship will be paying the slightest bit of attention to the Scottish 2nd division, Rangers or not...then you're mental. Kyle, Black, Templeton, Sandaza, Shiels......anyone who has taken the route Nicky Law has chosen....i'm sure not one single one of them will be required to change their voicemail message over the summer. "Hi you've reached Kevin Kyle/Ian Black/David Templeton/Fransisco Sandaza/Dean Shiels....i'm not available right now but if you'd like to leave you're name and number after the tone, i'll get right back to you." Hey, this is Dave from Vodafone and as a user, we have some great offers for you....." It certainly won't be fucking QPR on the blower.

I'm sure that would have went down well, Rangers Media would have gone into meltdown.

Given he's signed for them....what did you expect him to say?

Also, I wouldn't worry too much about us looking at the usual generic managerial employment queue. Over the past couple of appointments we've interviewed the likes of McCall, Fenlon, Ricky Sbragia, Jim Gannon, Steve Staunton, Aidy Boothroyd, Lawrie Sanchez... Some would appeal and some wouldn't, but you have to say that every one of them is out of left field

I genuinely don't understand how anyone can think ill of the guy for being interested in a new job. We've had what's turned out to be a fucking excellent manager for what's needed at our level, and we reaped the rewards of that. He's upped his stock within the game, and he's more than entitled to in turn reap his own rewards. Not only that but could easily have nailed his hopes to the mast at the end of his contract, but was willing to sign another one and as a result we'll get a reasonable sum of money for an outgoing manager. I hope he stays, but if he does go he'll get nothing but the most sincere thanks and best wishes from me. And then we move onward.

Obviously my first choice would be for McCall to stay, but Hartley's a great shout. We've developed a bit of a club philosophy on the pitch, and from what i've seen of Alloa (they are fairly local to me) he'd continue in that manner.

Spending a bit of it? We'd have to add to it substantially!!

I'm just going to chuck this in here so that it's on the record that i've said it if it does happen. Zaluska on loan. I have no source that would mean anything to anyone, before you ask.

From what I gather Lawless was offered a deal from the proceeds of selling Murphy to Blackpool, and then Murphy declined the move.

Was just about to post this. Didn't want to leave or relocate his newborn family.

Crackin idea in terms of generating funds but I wish some of the specific ideas weren't so affiliated to a particular scene, ie music in this case. Risks alienating people who have a particular dislike or actively avoid. Just as an example, if The Stone Roses were playing in my living room i'd go out for the day until they fucked off. I wouldn't wear a t-shirt that might make people think I liked them. Im sure a lot of people will disagree, but I just think by referencing a particular band/music scene/whatever...you're limiting it's appeal. Edit to say: I won't let that stop me just making an equivalent value donation however. The cause is a fantastic one and the work the boys do is superb.
