I remember him receiving the ball with about 3 men on him facing his own goal, and he took one touch before playing a long bending pass in the opposite direction from which he was facing, into acres of space, without even looking. Every other one of our players was standing about scratching their arse, and Curcic looked around as if to say "where are you all??". No-one else in the side was on a level to be able to expect what he could do.

Was wearing our blue top at 5's last night, and it finally dawned on me what it is that I hate about the Puma kits...and it seems to be all of them. Why are the sleeves so fucking long? They would all look much better if they were half the length...it just makes it look like a top that's far too big for the person wearing it, even if the body is a perfect fit.
-
There's something in the very back of my memory that's telling me UEFA require a club to have 3 kits registered with them, to be eligible for european competition.

It's a hip-hop originated thing.....dirt off your shoulder. It's basically the equivalent of "bothered?".

I love it! Socks are great.

Just as well it's in Dundee then.

At first I was like "Eh?? " But then I was like "Ohhhhh...."

I'm not sure you're quite grasping the "no-one cares" element of all this....
-
Yeah it is, but then folk who try to stir up scandal for no particular reason stop posting, and the BBC element disappears again. It's like a bunch of folk who just enjoy going to watch the fitba' round here at times.
-
Every one of your tempting teasers to lead us all in to such scandalous news is leaving us all thinking one thing..... Who gives a shit? Probably not the reaction you were looking for....
-
Personally really sorry to hear that news, actually had a bit of dealing with him about a year and a half ago when he started a topic saying he was looking to shift a load of bird books he had. My girlfriend was really getting into birds at the time (not in the way i'd have liked sadly...), and she went over to his house to collect them and was invited in. He wouldn't take a penny for them, just seemed really pleased that someone would get good use out of them and to this day they are still used for reference on a daily basis. Thoughts go out to his friends and family. RIP Henry, and thanks again Sir.

Gillette Football Club have chosen Higginbotham's goal as their video of the day. Follow the link HERE and click "Featured" in the top left.

The best thing about it is that McFadden has already spotted Hateley's run before he even receives the ball, so when he does he's able to control, turn, and make the pass in the space where he knows Hateley is going, without needing to look again. There's not many other players in the league with that advance vision and timing.

He certainly won't grab his baws as he doesn't appear to have any.

We almost lost a goal from him doing that as the man he was chasing was Hammell's man. Hammell was never catching him right enough but Humphrey's decision to overtake Hammell meant he left a man spare in the middle and there was no communication between them to get Hammell to stay inside. Left us with two players chasing their man and no-one covering the spare man that Humphrey ignored...we were lucky the pass into the middle was poor. Not really a criticism of Humphrey, more general communication, but he seemed so focused on making up the ground that Hammell couldn't, he didn't let him know he was taking over.

He had the ball in the corner of the park between the POD and the Cooper, Celtic cleared it up our end and he was left there by himself. The whole Celtic support was on their feet giving it the wanker sign and "you're shite McFadden". He just stopped and looked up at them for a few seconds...grabbed his baws...then kept on walking. To be fair the Celtic fans took it well and their was a lot of laughter...just one of those good give and take moments that are becoming all too rare nowadays.

The predominantly black colour being across the top makes the whole stand look cracking now I think!

On the radio on the way home McCall mentioned the telling off that Ojamaa got ofter 20 mins, anyone see that?
-
Nicky Law gets my vote. On top of his game he's one of those players that i'd happily pay money to see play the game no matter who he's turning out for.
-
It's an absolute privilage to see a player like Nicky Law play for our club. Has his faults and dodgy games as does everyone, but is one of the classiest players i've ever seen at Fir Park.
-
Indeed. Kind of glad I haven't signed up yet as im not sure my views on club matters can be adequately represented just by using the words "Ucchhhhtt" "Pffffffffttt" "Urrrrghhh" and "Arrrgghhhawwwjeeees". Or the insightful thoughts that "if that's what passes for a finger buffet these days Alan, then I don't even know what a finger buffet is anymore."

This can't be posted in too many threads.... Graham Barnstaple makes me wish i'd quit my job just so I could get to the game and have an alternative to listening to him. You don't like officials...we get it. You don't think fouls these days are actually fouls...we get it. You like to patronise anything that isn't Motherwell...we get it. Just tell us what's happening, we're not interested in what you think about it because right or wrong it makes it impossible for anyone who doesn't agree with you to make it to the end of the commentary. If it's free...do what you like. If we're being charged for it, just provide the service we're paying for and describe what's happening, instead of alienating the people who think your opinions on the game/sport are nonsense.
