An in-the-mood Murphy is one of the biggest assets we have, have to give credit to McCall for (finally) allowing him a bit more freedom to play a bit more centrally and float a little more. He certainly seemed to respond and showed that it's definitely the right way to play him. As for man of the match though I have to give it to Lasley. It's been a long time since I've seen any one player boss a game like he did yesterday. Absolutely ran the show.

It's the inconsistency of the ref's that annoys me. Webster goes over the back of Higdon, no penalty. McPake goes over the back of him, penalty. Someone yesterday goes over the back of him, no foul. I'm not even that bothered whether a challenge like that is deemed a foul or not, just make it the same. For all the chat about good/bad refereeing and the need for it to change, all the game needs is consistent refereeing either way so that everyone can adapt to what the rules are, and the game would improve.

Black, Templeton and Wallace generally did fuck all against us when they were with Hearts, surrounded by better players than they are now. I doubt that will be any different just because they are wearing different colour clothes.

20 points clear. Easily. We'll finish the season comfortably in the top 4, purely because even as things stand, over the course of a season we're one of the 4 best sides in the league. Obviously Celtic will be champions, with the next 3 places being Hearts, United and ourselves in any order.

That's the thing if you go with someone's musical taste though, there's just as many people who think Ska is shit as there are who think chumbawumba or mashups are shit. 1 - Make it actual songs that exist and don't fuck about with them. 2 - Don't keep playing the same ones over and over again like we're in Groundhog day. 3 - Make the songs either recent, or have a decent reason for playing something old Stick to those and I don't think too many people would have much of a problem, regardless of what was actually played. In all honesty I'd be surprised if anyone cares if they particularly like the music, as long as it isn't irritating as fuck. Im aware I may well be in a minority, but "Up The Well" is the cringiest thing i've ever heard. It's like we've wanted our own signature song in the mould of "Hearts Hearts Glorious Hearts", and made an absolute arse of it. I keep waiting on Benny Hill running in while it's playing.

If Stevenson re-signs for Hearts, I hope they have the sense to re-paint the home changing room before he turns up on his first day!
