  1. A very difficult decision as it was the whole team that won it IMO, but went for Tait just for his footballing skills that led to 3rd goal
  2. Another fantastic performance today, no negatives at all, the only problem we have is the players that we have brought in that are not getting a game e.g. Plummer, Lithuanian and I am sure some of our under 20's must be concerned that will be lucky to break through to the first team, so it must be difficult to keep a happy medium with all players. Anyway it is a nice problem for SR
  3. Where is the location of the pre Patrick game training taking place?
  4. Slightly concerned about Carson if cannot make it, although Griffith is more than good enough as a replacement, but if he is injured during the match, it would need to be Morrison
  5. I know I voted for Hartley as I thought he was man of the match when at the game, but after seeing the highlights, I think he could have made a better job covering Stevie May for the goal, as he got the ball across to Christie, does anyone else agree with this comment?
  6. Went for Hartley, although disappointed in our performance today, it was not a surprise as Derek McIness said he preferred to win ugly and boy did they do that today!!
  7. Probably the most difficult decision of any game I have been to as everyone were heroes tonight, but had to give it to Moult, not only for scoring but his overall work ethnic for his 85 odd minutes he played.
  8. The fourth substitute was in extra time which is allowed under the rules
  9. I am not too sure who are the favourites for tomorrow night, but I think Aberdeen might be very dangerous in respect that they have struggled recently and after all they are playing us, I do hope I am proved wrong, as we are capable of beating them but very wary of a dangerous Aberdeen and unfortunately our defence is still suspect. Hopefully we will get a decent crowd cheering us on, so going for 3-0 victory (Moult hat tric) !!
  10. Seemingly they have sold 1700 tickets for Thursday, which is not too bad, let us hope we can attract over 4000, I would like to think so.
  11. I would agree about King Louis, unfortunately he is taking over from Scott McDonald for arguing with referees, he will need to calm down, unfortunately we did have a case of a yet another wrong decision against us but it is very rare you will win an argument against a Scottish referee!!!
  12. Definitely one of the better games I have been at this season, although the referee did his best to spoil it, but this team will not give in and long may it continue. Nobody has mentioned it, but we had over 900 supporters today which was very encouraging., we must take more proportionally to away games than most as the 900 odd supporters which is 25% of our home support and there is not many teams will do that at an away game.
  13. For his overall work rate and scoring both goals it has to be Moult, but once again Bigi pass for Moult's second goal was exquisite and worth a mention, but once again no failures today.
  14. I am not totally convinced he was best player on the pitch, he got lucky with the penalty as IMO it was a soft penalty, although for his goal he did very well, although the Patrick defence did not cover themselves in glory. I thought Plummer had just as good game as the Lithuanian, as did Tanner Anyway the good news is these players that we are talking about cannot get a game in the first team which is really healthy for us.
  15. Have to concur about the Lithuanian, mind you it will be a big difference from playing against a Patrick Thistle under 20's defence than the first team, but certainly showed promise, although he did run himself into the ground and knew he would have played 90 minutes. Praise also for Tanner and Plummer who both showed their class tonight. Even the youngsters Livingston, Brown and King played well, McLean at right back!!!
  16. Surprise surprise, not a mention for Alan Campbell's performance on Sportscene analysis, absolutely shocking they could have shown some of his tackles and give him some praise, but with Thomson predicting us to be in the relegation battle at the beginning of the season I suppose I would not expect anything else!!!
  17. Campbell was immense and quite rightly gets the MOM but Bigirimana's pass to Bowman changed the game in our favour, also impressed with Hartley as he seemed to command the defence, but I am still baffled why Blackpool let him go on loan.
  18. I have to say for the first time in a long time I am actually looking forward to Saturday and let us hope we just continue from our last game and a good victory. My only concern is still the defence and are liable to make the odd mistake resulting in a goal for the opposition, but 100% improvement on last year, so I would take a 1-0 tomorrow.
  19. I am not too sure about Saturday, it should be a home victory, but we are talking Motherwell FC after all!! It will be interesting to see how Killie play, their first away game of the season even at this stage of the season they are fighting for survival/ points.
  20. Out of interest who were our 2 over aged players? I am not sure of our players ages
  21. I am over the moon with the business we did this deadline and although we need to keep our feet on the ground with the money we made, but it would be nice to spend some money on the scoreboard, although I would think it could be obsolete or is it repairable?
