Not many faluires tonight.......McManus deserves praise for an outstanding display,Skippy unlucky not to get a hat-trick,Lang also great game........couple of scary moments early in second half ,but saw the game out easily after we went two up !!!

You don't hear many managers criticising individual players either... Since the turn of he year McGhee's decisions and team selections in particular,:substitutions have cost us a barrow load of points........Accies : Robinson on as a sub,Hertz we have to match their physical presence : Starts Lionel and Marvin and moving the defence upside down:Thistle playing for a draw then brings on Lionel with minutes to go :then blames him for losing a point .....Then the cup game :skipy up front alone........playing for a draw at home in the cup ??? Then criticising our top scorer Other than the Dundee game ,I've had the misfortune to be at all those matches,and if "yer maw had bawz "we would have been sitting pretty and possibly looking at a top six place.....but we have continually lost points down to his poor subs/tactics I was pleased when he was appointed......he deserves the praise he initially got and should accpet the flack he is gettin just now........agree it's a fine line , but I don't get this anti McGhee agenda which if any is IMHO all in his his own making

Agree length of custodial sentence is excessive,even with the breach of the banning order,especially if as suggested he has no previous convictions As previously stated in the post: the Bois bring a most welcome extra atmosphere/colour etc etc to both our home and away matches, but continually setting of flares/smoke bombs is going to earn them more attention from the police and they will be policed accordingly when they travel about the country.........extra attention,heavy handed policing The incident at Firhill will have added to this: don't know what he had done or supposed to have done: where if the young guy had just stepped out got ejected or lifted the matter would have been finished, was he just expecting the police to go away.........and surprise surprise four police turns into fifteen and the rest is history.........naughty Motherwell fans again

Not according to people who were at the match and have seen the highlights on SSN,it would appear it was bad refereeing decision. Whilst I appreciate we have not taken many points from the last 4 games........McGhee has admitted poor substitutions against Accies possibly cost us points,the debacle at Tynecastle imho was also McGhee's fault down to his tactics/team selection and last week we deserved at least a point... If not more.......and agree these points lost could come back to haunt us

+ 1 was very good with his feet during those games his distribution was excellent and 15 points unbeaten and never lost a goal at FP,shame his return was not as good Unfortunately will be remembered as part of the trio of worst keepers I have seen play for us

McGhee went on all week,banging on about how physical that Hertz are..........his master stroke is to play our two renowned hard men Marvin "Handbags" Johnson and Lionel "Blair" Ainsworth together in midfield to combat the physical threat !!!!! Unfortunately the two aforementioned had two reasonable chances to keep us in the game in the first half As soon as I saw the team selection thought,we are going to struggle,which was then impacted with the bizarre switching of the defence !!! Our lack of options in midfield needs to be adressed as a matter of urgency,especially when we are relying on a player approaching his 37 birthday to run our midfield
