  1. Big Drunken Duncan already had a couple of convictions for assault......time to move on from the 30 seconds of post match madness and remember the results x 2 and look forward to next season..............and another few days of gloating
  2. I phoned and paid for 3 season ticket seats today......very smooth transaction
  3. Suppose so...........hopefully as mentioned, best case scenario,it could be in our own hands after Saturday
  4. Find it bizarre that that McIntyre should even mention it before the game are played this Saturday
  5. +1........can only hope Accies management recognise the 1,500-2,000 Dossers that attend New Douglas Park to watch us getting pumped every time we attend, rather than 67 Staggies
  6. Someone knocked his parka............£145 he paid for it !!!!
  7. It was a bit cold today........should he have worn something lighter/more fashionable ??????......or is he a mod ????
  8. Oh......."fat, shaved, tattoos" a bit of a generalisation there mate, and "I would have reported him if there had been a steward or any police around" you were that annoyed you would just wait to you got home and batter the keyboard......"Good job Police Scotland" I think you will find BTP police the stations.
  9. Shame our whole team "shat it" when he waltzed through it to set up the 2nd goal..........would walk into our team unfortunately
  10. Nothing to do with no midfield and forwards missing numerous gilt edge chances.............
  11. Well summed up mate....................Las is to old to do what he is asked as per above "Don't even know where to start. Almost identical to the Thistle game, exact same mistakes made by the management and the exact same outcome. Beaten thru midfield by a team playing with an extra man in the centre. Ali Crawford bossed the game and Accies where fitter hungrier & sharper across the full pitch. Hunting in packs and closing down in pairs. We had 4 or 5 really good chances but Erwins finishing tonight was piss poor. To sum it up we utterly shat"
  12. Playing two forwards dropping into in a "midfield" role isn't working...Lasley is to old and is being found out week after week.......................and if a big IF we took our chances tonight (Mr Erwin) .........which Accies did ....................another major disappointment. ...................how do we keep youngsters interested after the last 2 spineless displays.....Srtaker baffles me ....just appears to go through the motions..ge him TF !!!
  13. I thought we slightly shaded the first half.......however we were bullied in the 2nd lucky to escape with a 2-0.........tactics playing 4 forwards back fired badly ......the game was lost in midfield
  14. Erwin was superb today, great comeback, team effort excellent....Stracker gives me the fear
  15. Ah thought it opened initially as Motherwell Squash club in the early 80's and it went tits up after a couple of years and then the Fir Park Club moved in from under the stand.........did not know it was built by MFC.......did we sell it to the Fir Park club ?
  16. "I'm against the re-introduction of alcohol for a variety of reasons but even if it was re-introduced you can guarantee you'd get a shite plastic beaker of Carling and pay over the odds for it" What you giving it away for nothing ? Now I am in favour of that..................But that's when the bother really starts.......free bars As I said its about choices.........you obviously quite clearly don't want the choice We are in 2015 we have licensing laws that were first introduced in during the First world war to stop workers going to the pub and they have remained in various guises since. Unfortunately alcohol does cause violence in certain situations...... but selling a few pints at a football match to make some profit for the club is not going to recreate the Hampden 1980 Scottish cup final riot. Violence inside football grounds is extremely rare nowadays and why should the product be poor ??? What's it got to do with the cost of going to a football match......its about choices .you don't have to go to the match and buy a programme ,you don't have to buy a pie or Bovril etc etc I enjoy a pre and post match pint......but would like the choice to consider buying one at half time ! Or do you own Daniels or the New Century............
  17. "Re Introduction"......never been to football match in Scotland where you could buy a beer inside the ground......taken a carry out in though Pish warm beer I would not buy.......must be loads of micro breweries that would jump at the chance to supply ground's.......again its about choices......football supporters are treated like second class citizens by the authorities and the clubs.....and the quicker it changes the better !
  18. Laws in Engerland and Wales from mid 80's say you can not have a beer and watch the football at the same time Think in England some clubs especially in the championship have been trying to get it changed for a couple of years......At Reading you cant watch a football match with a beer....but when London Irish play rugby there you can bevy the whole game ! A couple of beer pumps or fridges isn't gonnae cost a fortune.....and the club would make money on it .....was at Hull earlier in the season and it was under £4 a pint......and £16 for an away ticket for their match against Palace !
  19. Outdated legislation brought in nearly 35 years ago.......that stopped people bring carry outs in to game Time to move on and bring our football in line with England / rest of Europe......something that we have never had inside our grounds I travel down to Engerland a couple of times a season for Premiership/Championship games......don't think I've ever had more than 3 pints inside the ground/......lager is normally no stronger than 4% Its nice to have the choice before the game to stand on the concourse out with the viewing area having a pint and the same at halftime. All this rubbish all of a sudden that fans are going to get mad with it, if you can get a pint at halftime Its all about choices and its time football fans in Scotland were given that choice On a foot note the way we are playing I would prefer 3 pints of Stella at half time
  20. Sadly old enough to remember Gary Davies..........and you are right both had similar mullet style hair cuts Vinnie Jones took a liberty and took Stevens out when he was getting up from a challenge from John Fashanu and then told him to get up and stop "squealing".........think it did his knee ligaments in from which he never really recovered......he retired a couple of years later
  21. Plus one Lasley is running about trying to make things happen but unfortunately he is now 35 and its not happening for him .......he always gives 100% But why is the oldest man in the team chasing for every thing........???Because his team mates don't/cant/wont...... Vigurs great player going forward at times but defending/chasing back etc leaves a lot to be desired We have the youngest holding midfielder in the country in "Magnolia" Carswell who is content to off load the ball asap and gets a nose bleed when he gets in the oppositions half Lawson when fit looks the part......but is never fit for a run off games Law certainly not his brother ....but his last couple of forays forward have brought our only attempts on goal in the last four games.......when he has played right back Our problems are coming from the midfield.....no support for the defence/no support up front Feck me Shaun McSkimming would be a superstar in our current team
  22. We have a 21 year old Carswell playing a holding roll in midfield who offers very little in creative/attacking football and yet we expect Lasley 35 year old to run all over the park to make things happen ????? Vigurs I agree lacks a defensive side to his game and can be infuriating watching him on the park and I don't think he was fully fit yesterday (ever) The midfield has been cut and changed constantly all season We have McCall and now Black a bad record playing players out of position in midfield especially and not giving youth a chance Yesterday we were lucky to take anything from the game.......and as mentioned by some other posters there seemed to be a total lack of interest/urgency commitment in the first half bearing in mind the new manager was sitting in the stand. We bring on the only player at the club with a bit of pace and surprise surprise we create a few chances and score....who again can be infuriating and it shows why he has had so many clubs and is at FP Again another late goal, which by my timing was scored over the 93rd minute, in aditional time added on by Gollum for the substitution in added on time by Black bringing on Cadden.........both Erwin and Cadden should have been on much earlier...... and how Sutton got a full 90 minutes again is a mystery to me.......
  23. Correct Kilmarnock[edit] Calderwood was appointed manager of Kilmarnock on 14 January 2010, succeeding Jim Jefferies.[1] He agreed a contract with the club until the end of the 2009–10 season.[1] Calderwood managed to secure Kilmarnock's SPL status for another season, but left the club in the summer after disagreeing with chairman Michael Johnston about the player and coaching budgets.[6]
