The usual knicker wetting on the boards after a defeat Enjoyed the game last night, we didnt deserve to be 2 down at half time but St midden should have been out of sight in the first ten minutes of the second half. IMHO i thought we merited a draw, and some great last gasp blocks by their defenders prevented 3/4 goals and Boaby should have burst the net when clean through,(must be aw that shagging he does) The negatives again are all there to see, Hammell and Hateley both very poor throughout, feck me other than the short corner in the first half(which again should have got a goal) our corners were murder throughout 2 good finnishes by Thomson for their goals, havent seen the highlights, but looking at the picture on BBC match report, possibly a foul on Hateley for the 2nd Untill we replace Jennings in midfield we will continue to leak goals. Merry Christmas fellow Dossers.......roll on Boxing day for more home torture !!!!

Some very poor performances tonight......as previously mentioned McCalls tactics at home are questionable at times to say the least.........his plan B ....Bob McHugh Murphy spineless at home........Ojamaa had a poor game but at least was trying to make things happen...........hope Law has a minor injury as he was sadly missed tonight. Hutchinson and Cummins are one of the youngest centre of defence combinations we have ever had...and at times tonight were our main playmakers...but sadly at this stage in their careers....they are not Franz Beckenbauer . Our lack of shots/tippy tappy wank boy fannying about on the edge of the box is starting to get right on my tits.......and do we evever practise corners at training ????? We seem to be the only team that takes a corner and within 10 seconds we are frantically defending in our own box. The only bright spot is Francis -Angol who should be on from the start on saturday.

Where is Murphy?????............still playing hide n seek...........like the majority of home games this season

Agree with yer comments about Forbes, got a game when we beat Smeltic 2-0 at the Arc and had a great game,(lucky to stay on the park !) and was on the bench the next game. We have not replaced Jennings and Mccall is now trying to field a team to suit his favourites and in my opinion leaving us very un balanced in midfield. Daley and Mchugh substitutions in the last 2 games has not worked and against the Arabs seemed to upset the whole rhythm of the team and at the time bof the first sub the game was still there for the winning. Daley has been a waste of a contract that we cant afford, and Bob IMHO does not have it and will proably be a star when he joins the Jags in the SPL next season Carswell and Hetherington wont get a game untill an injury/suspension happens in midfield and Hately will still be in midfield before them. Again "If yer maw had baws" scenario, we should have taken 4/6 points from the last 2 home games and pish refereering against the Edinburgh teams cost us at least a couple of points and if we could have closed out the games against the Sheep and St midden we would have been top of the league. And if Stewart Rennie had nae taken all those extra steps......JP Gordon wasnt a h*n etc etc etc :wank:

Dundee United game Nov 1994 1- 1 Craig Brewster scored deep in to injury time to equalise and burst my works coupon ! I was livinging London at the time and we would all chip in ÂŁ3 and bet a perm any 5-any 6 -all 7 That night there was ÂŁ30 odd notes on the coupon I picked us to win as we were unbeaten at home that season we were still 6/5 to win at home against the Arabs ! We had picked 5 draws and an away from the Zenith data cup/Conference which all came up from that we won ÂŁ675 notes...... Brewster .let us down for thousands :wank: That and the Airdrie/h**s semis 75/76

Hi Gate 13 I stayed 3 nights at the Best Western Museum Hotel.which is next to the National Archaeological Museum and Athens Polytecnic. There is street than runs between both these building leading to Patission Street, I suggest you pop down there and have a walk around about 2 oclock in the morning,I can assure you will see many junkies/drug abusers openly injecting etc etc which apparently the police turn a blind eye to between 0000-0400hrs daily ,(This information came from the hotel staff) One of the photographs I have posted on this thread is taken during the day on this street. I have edited my original post as I agree with you there are many nice areas/people/bars/hotels etc etc in Athens and it is not all a junkie ridden shite-hole!! I had a great time in Athens....apart from the result Try Deuchers IPA or Belhaven Twisted Thistle....both very nice pale ales Yammas !!!!!
