  1. The majority of games this season...... Where as Sutton decided he was going to be "Johnny Big Cigar" at Lithuania of Midllothian :wank:
  2. Agree with your post mate....... thought he had a great game/mom against Smelik in the 2-0 humping Why he never got a chance in the last few weeks before Hughes baffles me,or as somebody previously mentioned is thet far down the pecking order he is ???? Hope he takes his chance if given tommorow
  3. Agree..................... and hopefully they dont have an Alan Mackin in the team
  4. Maybe we should swap Craigan and Higdon positions.......... Craggs rarley misses from 6 yards.....at our end Sitter......the only sitters i saw missed in the highlights were 2 free headers for the current buns.......Higdons was a half chance in my book
  5. Just watched the BBC online highlights, some very poor defending/decision making/marking etc etc etc.............did we make/win a tackle in this game ????? Goals 1 + 3 Ah well....third in the league not be sniffed at and as mentioned in previous post a BIG month ahead which could shape the rest of the season.....hopefully in a good way with some home wins !
  6. Was that not the quater final in march 1981 Was that not the quarter final in March 81 there was amasive well support, I went on a bus from the Hattonrigg,,,,,,,,,We got roasted 6-1 Afters 20 odd minutes it was 4-0 a nd we then pulled one back(Mayhem on those extra steep terrace STANDING slopes of Tannadice) then two in the second half to finish us off This should be the new offical 'Well song Singing ............................................................................ "Memories light the corners of my mind Misty water color memories of the way we were Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind Smiles we gave to one another fore the way we were Can it be that it was all so simple then Or has time rewritten every line And if we had the chance to do it all again Tell me would we, could we Memories may be beautiful and yet What's too painful to remember We simply choose to forget So it's the laughter, we will remember Whenever we remember the way we were Memories light the corners of my mind Misty water color memories of the way we were Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind Smiles we gave to one another for the way we were "
  7. Wonder if it was the same bits of the East Stand Roof that were flappin around when we had the high winds a few weeks ago and we couln't be arsed or forgot to get it fixed ????
  8. Totally agree......Neil Doncaster and his cronnies looking to try and get fans back/improve crowds, but put the Mauld Firm on the same time as the 5 other games.....shambolic
  9. According to a work mate whos older brother & father were at the game (SheliK)....... they say it was a couple of Brazillian trialists invited by Big Jock to play in a friendly pre season 1965 Nither made an official start to a league/cup game although one went on to play with Clydebank ! Well done UBH ...all our votes ave counted on the Admiral poll !!!!
  10. Herons dad played in the early 50's that picture is from around 1965ish.....so it cant be him. Have asked some of the "Greatest fans in the world" ,who cant id them either.....again they qoute Gil scott Heron's dad
  11. Born Motherwell maternity Stayed in Thistle Street - Leslie St - Caldergrove Went to Calder Primary 68-75/ Dalziel 75-79........majority Well fans in my year a few currant buns Engineering 79-86 in Mossend Then had 8.5 years in London, (Wantstead - Russell Sq - Ravenscourt Park -Sheperds Bush - West Ealing) never had a real team in London followed Chelsea/Fulham and West Ham all through work mates Returned back to the 'Shire late 1994........and still remain
  12. Like everything in the "Art world" a lot of things are not everyones cup of tea............and as usual, on this site peoples good intentions are ripped to shreads..... This gesture was done with the coperation of the family who were involved in the design.....which was all done with the best intent to remember POD What were some people expecting..........:wank: Ah well I'm sure the next time it happens the people involved will know what to do
  13. Good effort guys well done.....will be there !!!
  14. Jay The people who were man-handled/assaulted by "stewards" should be writing to G4S ,The Chief Constable Grampian Police,Alex Salmond,SPL complaing and send copy letters to MFC. Every other week we hear about problems about stewarding/policing at games when people mention stewards numbers etc etc.....but does anybody put pen to paper taking the individuals to task ???? Football supporters are treated as second hand citizens...........on saying that I nearly got kicked out of the Echo and the bunnymen concert recently for "dancing" in the isle
  15. The whole problem about this issue is its"stewards" who start the problem then "Old Bill" has to sort out the shit they stir when they cant cope !!! U pay peanuts............u get monkeys !!!
  16. We could the make up the twelve points on the h*n@s and put us top of the league instead of joint second......Must agree his header today was powder puff for such a big guy,but it was a good finish....do you have to hit/kick/header the ball hard to score?????
  17. The kick off time thats getting on my tits is next Sunday 6th November against the Mhakies 12noon......why ????, At that time on the Sabbath,Sunday school, church, chapel etc etc goers will all be affected all to suit tv..........and you cant go to the pub before.......SCHOCKING !!!!!!!
  18. Good signing if the reports are true, always good to have an internationalist on the books !
  19. Better than the 12.45 ko we had against Killie.....and the old 18.05 Sunday Sky kick offs But agree it with a previous poster this would have been a better idea against a more local club, St Midden or Killie, (which I would consider going away to on a Friday night). Again dont see the argument its too near Christmas, as are most games in December are !!!!! Possibly a reduced price/if you attend with a season ticket holder reduced price with a voucher from their book would be good idea. I work a variable rota which means I work 3 Saturdays in 6, so It suits me that Saturday as I'm due to work Ps I heard it was Big Higgy's idea
  20. Correct.......he has been bailed to January.........IF he is then charged....... a trial date will be set possibly a few months later........ possibilites the trial would not start/adjournments/legal arguements etc etc..... this could drag out for possibly well over a year or more.
  21. From google search...... What is 'Conspiracy to Defraud'? A conspiracy is an agreement between two or more persons to commit an unlawful act, or to commit a lawful act by unlawful means; the former applies to conspiracy to defraud. The offence does not depend on the conspirators committing the act; rather it depends upon them agreeing to carry it out. It is enough for the conspirators to know that their actions will result in the defrauding of the intended victim. What penalties are attached to 'Conspiracy to Defraud'? A conspiracy to defraud conviction has the potential to result in a custodial sentence not exceeding ten years, a fine, or both.
