I’d Like to see Aberdeen get a draw or win at Ibrox this evening to keep rangers within a game of us.
Pretty impressive to see us with the best defensive record after practically 2 rounds of fixtures. So fingers crossed we keep that going against Hibs.
I thought we had already agreed with Celtic that he was staying here till end of season? Once agreed (contracted?) can they change their mind? I assume it would depend on any written contract details? So maybe maybe not.
I’d like to think that he’s not even considering leaving this season but I am hoping for at least another season but I’m sure he will have offers.
Will be up to him if he wants to see how far he can take this.
more importantly for MFC is that we continue to find coaches with the same approach. JBA is obviously not the only coach in the world who has this outlook but probably the issue for us is finding replacements in our price range.
I’m just hoping they Don’t injure half the team.
I didn’t realise how bad they were. Just had a look at the championship table. The only way we get beat here is by being overconfident and thinking we just have to turn up and we’re thru. The team best take it seriously and put in a professional performance.
Wonder if some of the younger kids that have been on the bench will get a bit more time in this game? Perhaps depend on how game goes or does he start them and bring on experience players if required?
I like that also but his pals need to keep an eye on him any time some trouble pops up. I think he could get himself a red card when he gets riled up. Needs a minder to drag him away.
Yes, bottom line pretty much always comes down to what the player wants, which is as it should be.
However, what annoys me is agents/potential buyers getting inside players heads while they still have year+ of contract to go, basically unsettling them so that keeping them becomes almost impossible and you are practically forced into selling them.
I suppose MFC will be doing what they can to keep Jens and keep players here so we can benefit from them playing for us but also not end up letting players go for zero.
For once it would be great to see a Motherwell team, especially this one, go into European competition with the same team that qualified.
Long term, we have to do what we can to maintain this approach to football and not revert back to”guid laddies” and “right to play” hoofball crap.
