With some Decent draws theres a possibility of making it to conference league stage. That would bring in some decent money and some excitement to the season. But you’re right in that premier league is top priority.

Perhaps he wanted to see what those players can do in game situations. He must already have a good idea on the first team players from video of last season.

Sounds like a few misplaced passes contributed to the result. However, results don’t matter in these games, it’s what you learn.
