With all the talk about the PK and our missed chances we never really gave JT some credit for his move that should have ended in a goal. That was a superb move that left the hearts defender helpless. I think JT could have had a better touch as he ran in on goal but then done well again to fake out the sliding hearts defender. Haven’t watched it back but not sure if a pass to Longello was on or not but JT should still have got it on target. Although he didn’t score that was His best game for a while, much more involved. Looking for more of that after the split along with a few goals.

Jut watched pk incident in highlights again. The player is laying on the ground and head the ball as Welsh goes to clear. Gets kicked in the head. Applying FIFA rules it’s dangerous play against the player on the ground.

Good post. Although JT can shoulder some responsibility for missed chances I agree with your comment on JT, that was his best game for quite a while. Ward was a bit shaky and errant in his distribution but wasn’t at fault for Any of the goals. We are in a ropy spell at the moment but still never been dominated or Outclassed in any game.

I’m not blaming officials for our defeat. I’m calling them out for not knowing the rules. I’m not 100% sure but did the Hearts player actually move the ball with his head? Even if he didn’t, It looked to me like he tried to play the ball with his head while on the ground. So should be indirect kick for us.

Exactly! How the fk can officials arrive at PK decision? as I said earlier, not a soft penalty, a wrong decision.

Good non emotional response from JBA. of course he’s right, once again we gave ourselves several opportunities to win the game but didn’t take them and that’s when the other things beyond your control can affect the result. while we have hit a bad patch, results wise, there is no league game where we have been completely outplayed. Yes, some games have been tagged by fans as poor performance but that’s only because we reached such high standards during the season. But if you look at the stats, even in the games we have lost, we come out looking very well. So let’s hope the next step in our development is converting our superior stats into goals and points So despite some recent frustration and disappointment we are still in control of attaining euro spot amd still playing some good football and will hopefully get back to winning ways soon with the return of JK and Slattery.

That’s what it seems like but it might just be that our officials are just fkn terrible. That pk decision is just unbelievable. How can you review that incident and come up with that call???
