Our defense looking pretty good, our midfield looking pretty good, surely we can get one or two of the forwards on our books to start scoring? AP, Hendry, Thor, JT, RCC, new guy.

We can take a few Positives from the game but also a few lessons. We certainly didn’t embarrass ourselves and didn’t allow a goal from open play but obviously we need to look at how we defend set pieces. Freiburg definitely better than us but of course they are since their squad is about 240m versus our 14M. Wouldn’t surprise me if Freiburg win the whole tournament. Realistically we won’t win the tie but hoping for a good performance in Germany

While disappointing result, we were playing the Europa league runners up and a team that are almost worth 20X the amount we are worth. We are also missing key players and still bedding in new players and new manager. Looking at the bigger picture I think it looks very bright for our season ahead. Hopefully we can go over there and play well and get a decent result.

I can’t tell from the stream how noisy our fans are. Nees the crowd to fire up and help the players get going…… and keep going.

I’m hoping we keep JT and use him out wide where he played his best stuff last season. We want as strong a squad as possible ao keeping him will help towards that.

Well i did find an Aldi and got 6 bottles of water for 1.94 euro instead of paying about 6 euro for 1 bottle of water out of the mini fridge.

Lot of people stating that our fringe players are not good enough for first team squad. I disagree. When a bunch are flung into the foray, then sure, it’s a team lacking quality but when you sub on on one or two playing alongside our starters then they are fine

I did say before the game I’d rather get beat and have no injuries. I have a Hard time getting worked up about the league cup, ao I’m over it already. Having said that, it was a dreadful performance on a dreadful pitch but might have brought us back to earth with a bang and help us realise we still have a lot of work to do to be. Good team. With everything rolling along smoothly we might have been getting ahead of our station. This is a stark reminder. So hopefully gives us a kick in the arse to be up amd at it on Thursday night.

RCC too slow at getting shot off at the end. Should be quick 1 touch then shoot but he took way to long to shoot after the one touch.
