Perhaps he wanted to see what those players can do in game situations. He must already have a good idea on the first team players from video of last season.

Sounds like a few misplaced passes contributed to the result. However, results don’t matter in these games, it’s what you learn.

I’m assuming Just will move on but will we have him back for a couple of European games? Or will he be on break after WC and straight to new pastures? im assuming for Watt and others that they are continuing to be Motherwell’s players for the momemt and are part of the preseason training etc.

Well that’s a good start to this Friday morning.

On the negative side we have to spend some of that money to get a replacement which will be a gamble for us. Will we finish lower down the table or go out of competitions ‘cause we miss him on the park, leading to loss of money? Can’t really accurately assess the possible negative financial aspect of the situation but I think it Will all really be driven by Just amd his agent. Once the lure of a Much better pay day is up for grabs it’s hard to retain a player per contract amd keep them settled happy amd playing well.

It’s a very tricky time for the club although I’m hoping they have a lot more information than we do. Trying to determine who to bring in but not knowing how much you can spend, not sure who will be here for the new season or even who will be here initially, since our first competitive game is only 3 weeks away. So much up in the air, an unenviable task.

It’s a bit busy and messy for me but I’m more concerned about how we play rather than how we look so, on we go. COYW!!!

I’m not saying we should expect 15m but I think 4M is on the low side.

He was playing along side Chris Wood who has moved for 15M 25M and 15M. Just looked way better than Wood.

Chris Wood’s last 3 transfers have been 15M 25M and 15M. Eli easily showed he can play with that level of player. Just should blow our transfer fee record out of the water. Although I’m sure his transfer fee will be suitably scaled back since it’s only Motherwell, a wee team from the SPFL 😡
