Yes, once you start to dig into stats games can appear much harder than you originally thought. We are obviously capable of getting 3 points but coming away with a draw might be a decent result. I think O’Hara is back playing first them again so I’m sure that’s a big plus for them. May come down to us being a bit more clinical in front of goal.

If results go our way this weekend we can mathematically declare ourselves as top six finisher this season. If results really go our way we could also declare ourselves as title contenders.
-
I hear what you’re saying but I think you are doing a disservice to a lot of the fans. Certainly some are quick to go back to old ways but I think there are more who are still 100% right behind JBA and the team.
-
Didnt get to watch the game but seen some clips. jBA’s selection may or may not have been good enough, due to the red cards we won’t know the answer. We do know that he has been pretty much right, this season so far, in his selections. just have to deal with the defeat in whatever way you choose and then move on to next game. still 100% behind JBA and the players.

We are in development phase. Priority is developing, not winning. Once we fully develop then I’m sure focus will be on winning. Have patience! Have faith!

Let’s hope we are better at taking our chances tonight and can restore our ability to control possession. Aberdeen on Saturday were one of the few teams that have been able to have more possession than us in a game.
-
I think JT is due to score a goal or two for us.
-
Thanks for letting us know ‘cause I was stumped

It’s just a better experience all round for everyone when the crowds are bigger, as in more Motherwell supporters.

Game is on ESPN+ in the states for anyone without a stream.

I started to write about the team for Wednesday night but there are so many options it quickly became way to complicated so I’ll wait and see what JBA decides and the good news there, is that Aberdeen will also have to wait. I’m hoping for a bit more out of JT and Said in this game.

2 league games and of course one of them already served yesterday. edit: i see Joe Wark beat me to it

Usually Celtic have won it or are only need of a couple of points to win it at the split. So perhaps this year we’ll go into the split where 4 teams actually have a chance to win it.
-
Is Fadinger able to Play this game?
-
The mark of heart attacks for fans.
-
Well that’s a different way to win.
-
We really need to take one of our chances
-
Need a bit more from JT. He’s been there in flashes but need to give him more of the ball. He’ll either score or get an Aberdeen player sent off. There guy already booked for hauling him back several times.
-
Aberdeen 56% posession but we are 9-2 on shots and 5-0 for shots on target. Add on the one that Said hit past the post from 3 yards and this should be well over.
-
Well, obviously the half time message is we need to convert our chances. Game should be done already.
-
Well we do have a Danish manager, so “whit’s he Dane noo”?
-
I would think he is destined for better than Celtic. does he have the patience to stay another year? He seems to be loving it but does he have the desire to stay and take us to the next level or will he be enticed away by the opportunity of a big pay day and a bigger club with better resources? the boards job is to convince him that he can still do both. By staying here another year (longer would be better for us) he can “finish” his project here and help set us up to stay on this path when he’s gone. He can then move up possibly to even better options than he will have at the end of this season. Would be fantastic to see how far he can take this team but it’s hard to see him and some of the players passing up the chance of securing contracts with financial rewards several times more than what they will make here. maybe winning the Scottish cup this year would help.
-
Really hoping that Jens and the board are talking and planning for JBA to stay at least another season as I’m sure he can make us an even better team next season and quite possibly good enough to participate in the league section of one of the European competitions. If we can also convince our top players to remain for an extra season (whilst ensuring we can still make money on them when they move on) next season could be unbelievable for Motherwell’s

I thought he wasn’t at his best from a distribution pov but he certainly didn’t hide. He was up for this game and got stuck in probably the most involved I’ve ever seen him be. So big gold star for that but my MotM is Sods, having a great season.

Wasn’t given at the time and I might be wrong
