  1. Really. When was last time seen a ref give the throw the other way for that
  2. Hope we do not get over confident and take it easy. We need to keep up the effort
  3. My memory of Andy Weir is him scoring the winning goal at Fir Park in a cup tie against stenhousemuir for a 3-2 victory. Reported in in the motherwell times as a banana shot.
  4. I’m only 65 but Charlie was playing when I first started going to games. Where as Joe Wark had rubber legs, Charlie’s super power was that he seemed to just hang in the air when he went up for a header. Both from the same mold though, gentlemen of the highest order, terrific talented players and model professionals. Perfect examples for any young budding player to follow.
  5. Thanks Ropy. Ok so not quite as bad as I thought.
  6. What’s the status on injuries? Will everyone be available? I’ve lost track of how the disciplinary process works but a wee bit worried that me might get a flurry of players missing throughout October due to suspensions?
  7. Hoping we can secure 3 points ahead of a very tough October where we face Hearts, Celtic , Dundee utd and Rangers again, plus St Mirren.
  8. I thought we done well managing the clock after we scored. Even more delighted now when I see how much it got under their skin.
  9. Based on previous results I think most everyone is very wary of how difficult a fixture this will be for us. So despite scoring in all 6 games, undefeated 5 in a row, looking solid in defense and dangerous in attack, I don’t believe anyone will be suffering from over confidence or taking RC lightly.
  10. Really? How foolish of us not to realize that we should be hurrying up so that we can help them win the game. Somebody needs to give our manager a good talking to. Every other team in the world employs the same tactics including them when in the same position. Maybe the press should focus a wee bit more on how the officials failed to call a blatant offside goal for Rangers. What a bunch of idiots.
  11. Yes,we have come u stuck with them a few times. Very difficult game for us. Might be unfair on Woolery but might be a game better suited to roberts starting? Don’t need so much speed up front as closer control. If we get a goal or two up then RC would have to open up which would then suit Woolery a bit more. I think id play VanVeen in the middle of front 3.
  12. Certainly defending much better but as someone pointed out last week we are the only team to have scored in every game. So it’s great to see that the our improved defending is not at the cost of scoring goals. Long may it continue.
  13. Doesn’t seem like I can listen to it. What was he saying?
  14. Not much between all the teams this year and seem to be troubling the old firm a bit in this first round of fixtures. I’m sure their depth of squad will see them pull away over the long haul but one can only hope not. Would be nice to see someone else win the league
  15. Fair play to all of our guys. They didn’t look nervous or overawed. Maybe we have a team with a wee bit of attitude.
  16. Ojala settled in very well now too after a few games. I hope he is fit for next week.
  17. Was nice to see a lot of them leaving early. Of course at that point even they were not expecting 6 mins to be added on. That was scandalous
  18. That’s my one complaint about him. He needs to cut that out and he might get some of the real fouls against him given. KVV also needs to stop it or at least have TW give home some acting lessons.
  19. McGinley just needs to learn to use his right foot now and again
