  1. We have a realistic chance to take 15 points from now till end of February. This game is the start. We need the 3 points to get morale up and send us in the right direction.
  2. And take Polworth with him for the same reason.
  3. For the next couple games I’d be tempted to try Watt in midfield in place of Polworth. I’m betting he would be much more effective. I’d start Smith as well. He looks strong and can actually control the ball.
  4. At least MoM will be an easy choice this week. Apparently easier than the choice to drop Seedorf.
  5. In the scheme of things 1 point from Rangers and Aberdeen is about all I seen us getting so from a league position we are where I thought we would be. But by end of February we need to be in a better position. Playing a few teams around us so we have to start picking up wins in those games. Draws are not going to cut it.
  6. Didn’t O’Hara score a pen there last season?
  7. Looks like he’s been trying to get sent of stupid chunt
  8. Polworth just plays for those fouls instead of just playing
  9. Agree Seedorf needs to not come back out. Biggest threat from Aberdeen looks to be Hedges. Not sure if we have it in us to come from behind.
  10. It’s not a bad performance but it’s the score that counts.
  11. I think the commentators have overly high expectations of what Polworth can do with free kicks
  12. To put things in perspective, if we took that profit we don’t even have enough to pay Mo Salah’s wages for 2 weeks.
  13. Agree. BFS was saying about WBA that all he is asking is for each player (hence position) to improve a little. If everyone can improve a little then the team will improve a lot. I have total confidence that Campbell will come good again. He has the talent, he has the attitude and he has the strength to get through a rough patch. I think we judge him by his standards and on our expectations of him. He is no worse than many of the others but certainly is not as good as we know he can be. But for sure, he never hides, so merits our support and encouragement till he gets back to the player we know he really is. COYW.
  14. I thought our substitutions were much better today. Seemed like under Robinson once we started subbing we would lapse into total disorganization. Today we kept our shape and momentum in defending and continued to look like a team.
  15. Part of the problem is we struggle to do anything with the ball when we get it although we were doing ok in that respect for the first half hour.
  16. Unfortunately when we get the ball we can’t do anything with it
