I was the same. Even some of the games we lost or tied we were creating so many chances. However, as the season has progressed we have just got worse and worse.
Since we didn’t have a leader on the field I thought Hammel was much too passive on the sidelines. We were a disaster a lot of the time with no organization or shape, he should have been bawling his head off to get them sorted out and organized.
I think we do need a leader on the field with some vocal ability. When heads go down we need that encouragement. We need help to keep organized. When getting tired they need reminded to keep going. Sometimes they do need a kick up the arse as well. For me we don’t have that and I think it would help.
As I’ve said on other threads we need the right manager to keep us up on a short term contract if we can get that. We then have some time to choose the right man for the future. Probably easier said than done
We can’t let that happen. Ok he is in charge for Wednesday game but then we appoint experienced man to see us thru end of season. Then we make permanent decision
Interesting to see him bawling from the touch line. SH very much like Lampard in that they are very passive on sideline. I think manager should be there constantly reminding them what the hell they are supposed to be doing. Some teams/ players need that more than others. I think we need that kind of encouragement from the manager on the side line
