He’s had a few chances of late and missed quite a few so hopefully things will start to even out and some of his chances will start ending up as goals.

I’m still undecided if it was deliberate pass back. At first I thought not but after seeing replays a few times I think it was deliberate. Kelly had plenty time to deal with it without picking it up. Unfortunately, We do need to be a bit more aware of the standard of referees and their inconsistency and try to avoid putting ourselves is situations where we fall victim to their inadequacies. I forget if it was last season or before but I recall our goalie getting penalized for 6 second rule. Haven’t seen one since. I do think it’s just a matter of time before a linesman calls handball on Kelly when he is distributing the ball from the box. Again, he doesn’t need to flirt with that issue. KVV needs to also grow a brain or he’s just going to pile up needless yellow cards.

Never pay much attention to pre and post match interviews. Are they really going to speak the truth? If they do they often get lambasted for that but if they spout the usual spiel they also get pelters. Fairly pointless exercise to my mind.

Oh, and Shaw looks slow even compared to the midfielders we already have.

I thought we played better than any of the previous 3 games but not making enough chances and so we need to take the ones we do make and somehow up our attacking threat. Still in 4th but obviously need to start picking up points to stay there

If we have a fit center half he should be playing and Carroll should be left back or sub. I agree with the idea of dropping to 2 strikers but then on the other hand if we decide we are going to press high then maybe 3 up top is better. Since they are more first line of defence than attackers. That’s why we pay GA the big bucks, to figure it all out. COYW. Not sure how this will go but we do need to up our performance and energy levels again.

I think we looked even more comfortable with 10 men. We sacrificed attacking and since we were toothless we didn’t loose much. In fact I think we were attacking better since we had more in midfield an were win u g the all more often and in better positions. Comes back again to a midfield 3 versus going to 4 in midfield.

Apparently we had 2 shots on target. I don’t remember those. Hibs had zero on target. 2 bad teams on a bad weather night.

If you’re on a yellow you can’t make a tackle like that. It was a soft yellow but don’t give the ref a call to make.
