Aye! You are right. I was thinking Utd were safe in top 6 but those results are not too far fetched for that scenario to happen. I’d gladly go along with that.

Still some long balls but that is perfectly fine. Coupled with some midfield play, it strikes a balance so at least the opposition don’t just have to sit back and mop up the hopeful (hopeless) long balls all game long. At least there appeared to be some attempt at playing football today. Thought we were very wide open defensively but if you can score goals then you can afford to take that risk although I’d rather fix that AND keep scoring 4 goals.

Somebody mentioned GA and small margins earlier I’ll give him that. Our one hit the post they scored ….BUT….. it’s his job to make it big margins in our favour. He is persisting with schoolboy football and failing game after game. In this league right now if you can produce even a little bit of football with a decent forward or two you are going to beat most teams. He’s not even tried to play football. At best his “tactics” are a 50/50 toss up whether we win or not. He gambling on the small margins going in our favour. Gues what GA they are not going in our favour, try some football !

He has been getting chance after chance to redeem himself and lord knows how but still has a chance to get us in top 6 at the split. However I see nothing to suggest that we can win either of our next two ( or more ) fixtures

We have several weeks where results have been kind To us and have never even came close to taking care of our own business. Not an ounce of football on display.

The only thing getting him by before was results. That aspect has now well and truly gone out the window.
