Not sure who or why is making that call on the away fans but I’m sure it won’t bother too many Motherwell fans. However, the question that pops into my mind is will they allow Rangers supporters from Motherwell into the game ?

I’m sure there will be more discussion once the thread is up for the Rangers game but have to agree with you. That’s not to say we shouldn’t try but being realistic, then odds are in favor of us getting beat. I’m hoping the players go in with a positive attitude and a good plan and I’m really hoping we can do a job so I’ll be cheering them on as normal.

That does seem to be how it works at the moment but may change as time goes by or maybe depend on the opposition. As Alexander mentioned in his after match interview, it’s work in progress but you have to pick up points along the way. At this point in time I think he sees our best option being to shut up shop. Hopefully that will change as the season progresses. Certainly a lot more entertaining to kill a game off by scoring more goals.

Been a long time since we had such a choice. Gave it to Watt for his performance and additional entertainment value of winding up Brown.

Looks like we have a stronger squad. We will need all those players throughout the season as individuals go out with injuries and suspensions.

He still has a bit to go but that was by far his best game for us.

First half McGinley was constantly dealing with 2 or 3 Aberdeen players but looks like they sorted that for the second half

Yes, every player looked up for the game and got stuck in. Our transitions from defense to attack were great. Let’s hope we can keep up the good performances.

I still think we might get something out of them so not writing them off yet.

All 3 of them can actually control the ball, hold it or beat players. Will take some time to get used to that after watching our more recent signings over the past 2 years or so.

Maybe some will be allowed to leave the club by mutual consent, after the deadline, so they can go find a club. I think that’s allowed?

No! They must be judged now before seeing them play. If you wait till after seeing them a few time that is just going to bias your decision.

For me playing the right formation is more about getting the most out of your players on the park than it is matching up against the opposition. If you get the most out of your players then you have a better chance of winning. …… having said that I miss the days when you would stick a player on top of the opposition star player and not give him a minutes peace. I see that as a perfect role for Grimshaw.
