That’s my point. Even the best strikers need a decent number of chances to score one goal. We are expecting our strikers (to a certain extent) to score with a severely limited number of chances.

I think our strikers are a wee bit hard done by. We are not exactly overwhelming them with chances. Most of the balls they get are 50/50 at best. Yws, they have had some chances but I wonder What the success rate is for top class strikers? What is the ratio of goals to chances for a top class striker?

I’m happy with that until we get him signed up on a decent length contract.

Even if we win our next 2 games we will only move up 1 place at best. But i suppose in our current predicament its all about how many points between us and the bottom 2 rather than climbing up the league.

Just as a reference/comparison point. Robinson perhaps getting some leeway from some of the fans due to his cup “success” last year. Claudio Renerie won the EPL with Leicester City and got fired during the Next season. So Robinson probably best be fixing things quickly now. Tick tock tick tock ....

If It at least looked like Robinson was trying to address the problems I’d be ok but it doesn’t seem that way. Having said that I really hope he can turn it around and stay. Would be nice to have a bit of stability around the club but you have to draw the line somewhere.

Good point. Maybe depends on who the opposition is? Or perhaps you switch them out during the game to keep up the level of intensity?
