The next few games will let us know how good we are. No point in beating “big city” teams if we can’t beat the “smaller” teams. Having said that I would expect our performances to be inconsistent but at the same time if we are a good team the bad games will hopefully be few and far between

Isn’t he just a much better player now that we give him the ball instead of making him chase hopeless long balls Howf’d up the park by Gillespie or Dunne. The boy has some skill. If he can start adding a few goals it will add on a few pounds to be few. Having said that i’d Like to see us get some benefit out of him and other players who catch the. Eye. I know we are a selling club but there needs to some balance as in trying to win cups or get a euro spot. If we did manage to get a euro spot it would be nice to go into that with the team that earned it. Anyway, my comments are in general as it’s way too early and presumptuous to think of us getting a euro spot this season. While that may be the target , it should be One game at a time and see where we end up. COYW

Not sure how many time we scored 3 goals in 3 games in a row. Would you have believed anyone telling you that we would score 11 goals in 4 games where 3 of the teams were Hibs hearts and Celtic!

For me the only real blip so far has been the hearts league cup game. Although Celtic cuffed us We did gift them a few goals but we also had a decent amount of possession and scored 2 goals. However, the league cup game we were just terrible. I’m hoping our terrible games will be much less frequent than our good games It’s the MFC rollercoaster so you know there are more terrrible games to come. Let’s just hope they are blips in among some long runs of good form.

Let’s hope we can maintain our good run through the next few games. Definately a few winnable games coming up but only if we play well and apply ourselves. We won’t get points just for turning up.

Seedorf actually put some work in today as well as scoring a screamer. Let’s hope he continues to improve. Thought Hylton took his goal very well. I think having Cole and Long will work well sharing the middle striker role.

Had we taken our chances it would have been a hammering. You can always find things to improve on but all in all a decent display and players improving week by week. Love Scott playing in that position just hope he can add a few goals and boost his confidence even more

I’d like to see him make it to a decent level. Would be another good advert for MFC youth program and the club.

Maybe if he had been a Killie player? O’Donnel looks way out of his depth. Has. No clue what to do with the ball when he gets it.

I hate international breaks

If our new players can adapt to SPFL sooner rather than later it could be a good season for us. Its much harder to play against teams with multiple attacking threats. That's what made us so good under McCall for a while. Easy for teams to snuff out 1 main threat not so easy with 2 and then almost impossible to deal with 3. You have Donnelly scoring from midfield, pace on both wings, if we can get Long and Scott to start scoring regular it could be our best season in a while.

No issues with the Tanner situation, it is what it is. Wish him good luck. However saving a Tanner on the wage bill won’t help much. Ok I’ll get my hat and leave !

Yes,I’m hoping we can exact some revenge for our league cup exit and come away with all 3 points and continue to improve.

Wondering what the general opinion is on Dunne and Tait being dropped? Tait has struggled so far this season and Dunne’s distribution has been terrible but defended not too bad. Is the manager trying to address issues much quicker than normal? I think I’m the past he has persevered with underperforming players but maybe learning as he goes? However, Seedorf starting kind of doesn’t fit into that. COYW
