Wondering what the general opinion is on Dunne and Tait being dropped? Tait has struggled so far this season and Dunne’s distribution has been terrible but defended not too bad. Is the manager trying to address issues much quicker than normal? I think I’m the past he has persevered with underperforming players but maybe learning as he goes? However, Seedorf starting kind of doesn’t fit into that. COYW

I’d agree with his statement. It’s only deliberate hand ball that should be penalized. Of course you then have to decide did he have his arms outstretched so that the ball would bounce off them which would then basically count as deliberate but there are many times when it’s natural that your arms end up being outstretched.

Not even sure why any discussion popped up Been that way for as long as I can remember. No relation to new rule. Now Hartley’s penalty incident I haven’t been able to get a good look at yet. On a related point I thought deliberate hand ball was a yellow card? However many times I have seen refs give free kicks for hand ball but no yellow. Is that rule now modified or am I just wrong on that one?

I thought I recalled weeyin saying it would only be audio but according to the Motherwell tv app it says live video.

The only positive I can take out of this game is that considering how bad we were we only got beat 2-1. So if we can actually improve then we might have a decent season. We are obviously not physical enough so we will have to learn how to play possession. As recently mentioned we have to reproduce the performance we saw in the first 20 mins against Celtic. Let’s hope Hylton and Seedorf are quick learners and that we make use of their speed by playing through balls for them to run onto behind the defense.
