  1. My view after the game was “ how the hell did we get beat 5-2”? Of course steel boy pretty much outlined why but I wouldn’t blame Campbell for the free kick goal. The wall Set up gave Griffiths a clear view of the goal. I’ll put that down to Gillespie. Having said that I don’t understand some posts wondering if he should be dropped!! Not even close to having that conversation.
  2. Scott gets my vote for starter
  3. I know it’s goals that count and despite some valid points re the wingers, some obvious individual errors etc I think we can take some encouragement from the stats. Do we normally have 11 shots against Celtic? Do we normally manage 50/50 possession? Do teams normally score with 100% of their shots on goal? Yes, we have to stop goals and score goals but I think we have more to build on than the previous seasons and I am expecting a much better season than of late from the aspect of entertainment and results.
  4. Yes, that’s the first time I’ve really seen Gallagher and I’m wondering how we managed to get him. He looks very good. Especially our newer forwards got easily outmuscled that’s where I think Scott has the edge and he fared much better strength wise. I’d like to see us persevere with him as a starter
  5. From what we have I’d agree. Never seen anything so far this season to warrant him not starting.
  6. I’m with you. Lot of people for giving it a go and the risk is you pay for that. Made some errors and got punished severely for it. Quite a step up for some of our new players. I’m thinking some overly negative reactions so far. We played some good stuff in spells and I think the likes of Hylton and siedorf will get better as they get used to the level. We started of very well but just couldn’t maintain our passing accuracy as the game went on. I’m not overly worried and think we are in better shape than we were at this point last year.
  7. Makes for more entertaining games which is good as long as we win our fair share
  8. At least we look like a football team. Some good passing move but Siedorf looks a bit light weight and I think Hylton neeeds to relax a wee bit. He seems a bit tense.
  9. I think celtic has a few of them against us before
  10. Yep I’m afraid the powers that be only pay lip service to stamping it out. As you just mentioned there’s one way. I’m sure there are plenty more but we all know that’s not going to happen.
  11. So basically dependent on what the tv channels want to select as highlights determines what they get to review.
  12. Is there actually a documented procedure for how this is supposed to work? In most industries HR will have a well documented disciplinary process so that if they want to “punish” anyone they have a set procedure to be followed that supports their actions. I’m sure any half decent lawyer could rip the SFA (or whatever the governing body is) to shreds over their imposed disciplinary actions. Since football is not just a sport anymore but is a business in which their disciplinary actions can affect the livelihood of people, they should be held accountable for having a proper repeatable unbiased disciplinary procedure in place.
  13. So Tait to left back for the Celtic game and grimmy in at RB?
  14. I'm just wondering if I'm going to get up for 6am kick of this coming Saturday and be able to sit thru 90 minutes
  15. Let’s hope our optimism gets rewarded with a win and a good display. COYW
