I assume in the end it’s really all down to Turnbull? If we had multiple offers and he wanted to got to a team that was not the best financial offer for MFC he could go that route, right?
We’ll certainly seems to be conflicting views on this one. Those who say too much risk not to accept, so take the money now and those who say worth the risk let’s hang on. I don’t despair of anyone’s opinion as both options have pros and cons.
I’m sorry but selling ur best player to another team in the same league is fkn crap I’m pretty sure we could have got the same or more from an English team
I have no issue selling him early. Give us more time to deal with replacing him. My issue is selling him to another Scottish team. I’d rather take less money and sell him outside of Scotland. I also think he would develop better down there.
After watching the last 2 Scotland games. First name on the team sheet for next one should be Turnbull. Can’t do any worse than what’s been on display.
luckily we don’t normally pay transfer fees to buy players otherwise asking prices would go up in anticipation of us making a bundle off of Turnbull. Hopefully it won’t affect negations with any possible signings with their agent trying to wring more money out of us
I like Ariyibi but felt he was always more about trying to draw fouls rather than beating his man. Went to ground too easy too often for me but I’d still have him on the team with coaches working on that............and his finishing
I hope we respond to Celtics offer in the manner it deserves and telling them that they need not bother coming back with any other offer since there will be no further communications for MFC to Celtic on this matter.
Excellent deal from the club for an adult season ticket holder or over 60 season ticket holder to bring up to 2 kids free all season long. Don’t know what normal is or what other clubs are doing but that sounds like a terrific offer from the club. Just the sort of thing that’s been discussed on here
