Don't know if they use it in Scotland but I like the 10 point format they use here in youth soccer tournaments. 6 points for a win 3 points for a draw 1 point per goal up to 3 1 point for a shut out 3-0 winner gets 10 points loser nil 0-0 draw both teams get 4 point 3-3 draw both teams get 6 points 1-0 winner gets 8 points 4-3 winner gets 9 points loser gets 3 points Edit: I did also like the old league cup format of 4 in a group home and away, followed by 2 leg knock out ties then semis and final at Hampden. I remember Morton beating us 3-0 at Cappielow then we beat them 3-0 at fir park. Replay at Ibrox Jumbo muir scoring the winner with a header, altohugh I think he may actually have fell over someone which helped him get his head onto it.

I remember going to the reserve games to watch Dixie Deans before he broke into the first team. One one of my vivid ( or so it seems now ) memories was Dixie scoring a peach of a goal Against St Johnstone in a 2-1 scottish cup win at Fir Park. Pulled it down with his lef t foot and leathered inot the net with his right foot from about 20 yards

First game I remember was in early 60's Motherwell V Rangers at Fir Park 3-3 Don't recall a whole lot about it other than I was up in the stand with 2 of my uncles and that Wullie Hunter was the best player on the park.

When I looked at the replays I think the linesman got it right. and if he didn't it was tight enough that I don't think you could fault him for calling it.

Thats the first time I have seen Gomis. I would not have put him back out for the second half. Although we defended in numbers the first half I thought we looked very vulnerable so hopefully we can tihten that up. Much better positive attitude in the scond half but we give the ball away too easily when we have time and space. So all in all when you consider how much room we have for imporvement next season mght be a good one COYW lets get 4th

Like someone else mentioned, a bit nervous in that we have realistic expectations of taking something from this game. Hope it doesn't turn out that we get hammered. I'm going for 3-1 to the mighty well. 2-0 up then celtic get one back then close to the end Griffiths ballooning a penalty kick over the bar then we score in stoppage time. Edit: Moult hat trick

Correct. 47 possible. Saturday certainly has thrown up a very exciting fixture list for last game before the split with pretty much every team needing to win.... Except us but I hope we go into the game with the attitude that we need to win it. Although we are the early game I think our result really won't make a difference to how the other teams will approach their games. I'll be up early on Saturday and hopefully waking everybody else's up screaming my head off when we score and win. Ok I'll still be cheering if we get a draw. COYW

Ross county play both Dundee and Thistle So if we beat Caley then I think we are guranteed top 6 finish.......or if not guranteed at least highly likely.
