Big OUCH!!!! for most of the teams we played around then. You won't see many half back lines tougher ( being nice ) than Millar McVie McLaren
-
with inverness playing Hibs, as long as we win against Ross county, we benefit from any result in that game
-
nice one Jay! Hillarious !!

Cheers for psoting up the video. What a great goal that was. From our box all the way to a goal. What an excellent transition. You could see the 2 men on Ojamaa and 2 men on Humphrey but Oj done well to gather the clearance, control and pick out the pass. Humhrey with a good touch and excellent strike to get us the goal from 2 against 4. damn!! that was like a real football team!!!

For me it's not so much that Randolph is getting punished but rather that they are over ruling the referees decision. The referee had a clear view of the incident and saw nothing wrong. So effectively they are reversing his decision. Are they goign to do that with all refereeing decisions? of course not, so they need to define more clearly the role and powers of the compliance officer. A related question, if he was given a red card would it not be a 1 game ban? was he up there on points causing the punishment to be a 2 game ban? or is the 2 game ban because it is deemed as violent conduct?
-
the ref clearly saw it and made the call. But now, apparently, that decision is being overturned. What about all the other incidents refereees see and make the call why are those decisions not being overturned? Because it would be ridiculous to do that just as it is ridiculous in this case. i thought the purpose of this looney guy to take care of things missed by the officials, not to overrule their decisions. The governing body needs to better define the role of this Looney guy as to his powers, and when and when not they should be applied. Right now it seems to be anybody's guess as to when, where and why they are being applied.

On sporting life we are top of the away from table but 11th in the home form table................ If Only!
-
Aberdeen are punching above their weight
-
I wil be able to watch this one on the telly in my living room but got to get my arse out of bed early since KO is at 6.45am my time

Does he get an assist for the shot that murphy scored from the rebound?

Let's hope McCall finally sees that Hately in midfield is not working and tries someting else. ( not holding my breath ) I'd go with Cummins and Ramsden at the back along with Hately and Hammell I think we need to give Carswell a decent shot at filling Jenno's shoes in midfield. lasley and Law are in there along with one other. Up front Higdon and OJ. I think OJ is due a goal or two. 3 - 0 'Well Higdon, OJ and Law.
-
So what your saying then, is that we should seat the rangers and celtic fans there when they play at fir park?
-
I'm now buying texas lotto tickets on a regular basis!! Although winning it may be easier than talking the wife into letting me spend it on Fir Park. We need someone to go find some rich foreigner with more money than sense although someone not foreign with mor emoney than sense would also work.
-
OJ is due to score a gola or 2. Higdon will be pumed after being announced as POTM and our defence should be strengthened with Cummins out. Well to win this one. After havng said that I think cummins will turn out to be a good player just too much to quick for him without the steadying influence of an older head like Craigan.

only a matter of time before he becomes infected and is as Whiney, paranoid, delusional liek the rest of us.........................Just kidding ......................welcome to the forum.
-
I'd take him in a heart beat. yes we need a jennings replacement more but ehhhhh gues what. if there was one available on our terms don't you think we would have already signed them?? someone mentioned in another thread we need a player that the opposiiton fear. I am sure the thought of facing Mcfadden is going to make a few managers have some sleepless nights. while filling Jenning role may hvae been the number 1 priority adding some creativity to our attacking play is also an area we could do with improving. I'll take him.

We are second after 8 games are we not.

PIG SICK!!! McCall and the team owe the fans BIG TIME after that one. At least i won't be getting any pelters tomorrow but still a sickening capiulation.
-
One of those things that you only do once!!! Like asking a woman if she's pregnant .................only to find out the answer is no! not one of my better moments!!
-
Haven't read the statement and not going to.............now back to the game! I hope we beat them by more than 2 -1 I hope we gub them so that regardless of which Rangers they choose to be it's a record home defeat for any rangers in any form!!!!
-
top of the league and undefeated and certainly room for some improvement..................Not too shabby to be sitting top knowing that we can do even better. Definately felt like 2 dropped points but prior to the game was feeling that 1 point would have been ok.
-
Welcome smiddy!! and such good typing too!! are you sure that's you?

Good luck to the lads tomorrow. Results went pretty well for us with Saturday's games. We also have a lot going for us and it seems nowadays that we have the bottle to take advantage of situations when handed the opportunity against other non OF sides. We are the only unbeaten team in the league, Aberdeen haven't scored in 3 home games this season, Fallon is out, Higdon is top scorer in the SPL, other than the cup game we seem to have the upper hand on them. See no reason for that to change tomorrow. In years gone by, having listed the above, I would be saying stick on defeat for the Well. Going for 3 points tomorrow. COYW!!!!

Crowd For Ibrox - League Cup Game
texanwellfan replied to walking down the Fir Park's topic in Club Chat
not sure how many but I know there are a few motherwell supporters in Austin. Went to Fado's ( fake irish pub ) to watch the league cup final against Rangers a few years back and there were a good few guys in the bar with Mothwewell colours on. So definately double fugures in Austin!
