Not seen it mentioned but for me the big thing is we have now avoided the situation where Accies and Dundee would be playing the last game where a draw would keep them both safe.

Could be a blood bath next week. Robinson needs to get them fired up although you would think they could do that by themselves. Hopefully controlled aggression and keep 11 players on the field. While I understand all the doom and gloom it's not over yet. As for Robinson he needs to play players in their proper positions and not get fancy with tactics or team formations. I looked at the 34 games played after the league cup round 1 fixtures. defined acceptable defence performance as conceding 0 or 1 goal gives the defence 50% good games ( 17/34 ) defined acceptable attack performance as scoring 2 goals or more gives the attack 29% good games ( 10/34 ) Of those 10 games we have won 8 and lost 2 ( Celtic 3-4 and Aberdeen 7-2 ) Of course the midfield has a big influence on those numbers but its coming down to crunch time and we need to start scoring and winning. Not conceding may get you a draw here and there but we need to start getting 3 points so for me we need to take the risk and play with an attacking formation as much as possible from now till end of season.
