3-1 for Super well with Lionel grabbing at least 2 goals. Should be looking for some sort of reaction from Wednesday night going ito this one. Added to that, there should be no need to overthink the tactics. Hopefully a more positive approach to the game, going out to win it, instead of damage limitation. McGhee and the palyers need to adopt a different attitude when we approach these games. Time after time we sit back and let them play and take the hiding. FFS at least have Celtic feel like they've been in a game instead af a training exercise.

What we need is for Johnson to have a stormer tomorrow night and rip Celtic apart. We get into next round and his value and appeal goes through the roof.

Haven't really seen much of the new guys other than glimpses highlights but sounds like we have done pretty well with at least 3 of the new signings, in McHugh, Heneghan and Tait. I think the general opinion on here is that they are doing well...Praise indeed!!! Improving about 25% of your team will hopefully translate into better results and performances on the park. Add into that Samson is a pretty decent goalie ( I think ) We have a goal scorer in Moult, the expeience of McDonald, Cadden just keeps getting better, Hammy back playing regular, Johnson looking like he's interetsted and fired up, Ainsworth looking up for it as well. I think havein better player players around wil lalso help Lasley play better. Here's the jinx part............Really looking forward to this season and some good entertaining football.

I said something along the same lines that if we can get good Money for Johnston...give Thomas a run in the team and some coaching and i think he will turn out to be pretty good for us.

I hope Oxford or some team offer us a good amount for Johnson. I am sure that Dom Thomas can step up and make us foget about Johnson. The lad has ability and just needs "coached" to turn him into a really good player. A run of games in the team in addtion to some coaching form McGhee and McFadden and I think he could easily replace Johnson.

I'm confused by the fact that Stranraer and Annan are in any group with the word NORTH in it.

i think this would be an ideal game to start Dom Thomas. Give him the ball and tell him to take on players in and around the penalty box. Either sets up chances or perhaps win penalty. Either way, if you think a team is going to park the bus then, I'd like to see someone who can dribble past defenders as an option to long shots or countless side ways passing looking for openings.

Exactly!! It was horrendous last year the number of times we had players on the park apparently unable to do that. One of the traits of a good team is eliminating needless errors. If all he can do is win the ball for us and give it to one of our players i'll consider that as hime doing his job.
