  1. if I was there, I'd be there. No really! It makes sense. It does!
  2. Rephrasing the question for MJC.............. Do we exit the league cup in the third round?
  3. Of course, there could be some who are jealous but still want to pump him ?
  4. You would think that wouldn't you but who knows what they will come up with for post split fixtures. hopefully it will work that way.
  5. Pretty tough that we have to play, what will probably be the 3 hardest teams, Celtic, Aberdeen and Dundee utd all away twice.
  6. I think i mentioned it a few weeks ago but I think Angol may see him become one of our better players. Only time will tell. PS this message comes to you via free wifi at Weatherspoons !
  7. Agree. I think if we get Las and Ainsworth signed up we are just about done! Maybe 1 more addition but not sure what that addition would be Hutchie replacement? Speedy left wide player? defensive midfelder ?
  8. I'm more hoping to see Las and Ainsworth signed up this coming week rather than anything about Goodwillie
  9. Not sure we need another forward. Rather spend some extra to keep ainsworth than spend it on goodwillie. I would think any new faces would be to address our goals against record in the way of a centre back or midfielder..... or replace Ainsworth. I am interested to see how Angol will do next season. With this season under his belt I think he might be turn out to be a very good asset to the team. The wife may disagree though, she might be willing to spend some extra money for Goodwillie
  10. So is that referring to Rotherham being eejits? or is his agent telling us that he has other offer and wants more money, in which case Ainsworth nd hi agent are eejits. EDIT: ok I read it again so the eejit is in fact Ainsworth. I would love to see him sign but I think we continue as we have apparently been doing..........here's an offer, say yes or no by this date.......then we move on.
  11. Well thats a good start to us getting him then, right?
  12. LOL thanks ! well lets hope that doesn't turn into his regular eating place then.
  13. Sorry but this is right over my head. Is there any significance to this?
  14. I thought someone had said that a while back on here. I assume we will be offering him a new ocntract.
  15. how many games has Lasley played for us?
  16. 2 year deal I would think.but I'll go with faddy the daddy's post !
  17. So probably comes down to does he want to play every week or is he happy to take the money he is getting now and not play. Have no clue which way he will go on that.
  18. So who are the players still under contract that we should probably try to move on? I am not sure how that works? I would assume that the player in question would have to agree to the move, right? So might be pretty difficult to move players on while they are still under contract ?
  19. Just to clarify it was the first one of their 9 in a row.
  20. Yep! I was at that game. Ball bounced off Boby Lennox's knee in about the 90th minute, at end where copper stand is now
  21. Don't know enough about McCourt to pick either way but for me it's not about how long you can play it's about how much you contrubute or can affect the result while you are on the park. You need to prevent goals against us or make/score goals for us. Not point in being able to run around for 90 mins if you are not having an effect on the outcome of the game. if you can play for 30 mins a game and make/score goals, I would take a player like that if he fits in our budgeted salary structure. I have no idea if McCourt could deliver the goods on a consistent basis to warrant signing him but in general if we could get a player to perform for 30 mins and contribute significantly in those 30 minutes I'd take that player.
  22. I have no clue how the discussions went but I would assume that we offered reduced terms but Faddy knocked it back? Certainly a possibility. I would hope we at least did that. I would have been happy with him signingin on again taking up a "regular" wage but I can see where we just couldn't justify another season of additional expense, all be it from outside budget, based on his injuries and performances. Still, never say never, stranger things have happened........................add your cliche here
  23. whether it's him or the product it would appear not to be working so time to try another. we seem to be lazily just copying england and that doesn't seem to be working
  24. Sounds like he should be able to do the job then ! So is it him or the product?
