So what are we hoping for or what would be the best results for us in the 2 games next Wednesday evening, the 13th ? Being positive (some may say dumb) that we can take care of our own business I think defeats for Hibs and Dundee would be best for our top 6 hopes. Failing that 2 draws would help us for top 6 and avoiding play off spot.
Certainly most improved player by a mile and I’m betting, still not the finished article. Already looking forward to seeing him play next season. We are also using home well too. For a long time we played hoof ball under several managers. Now we are playing thru balls behind the defence for Bair to run onto.
Not sure how likely it is but would be good if we can keep the core of the squad and add to it with some better quality. Not sure who’s on loan but would love to see Gent and Vale here next season. I Also like Halliday and Nicholson. I know we will have Miller and Bair. I think Miller will be a stand out next season. Need to see what we can do to keep Spittal
We managed to defend 15 corners yesterday without conceding a goal. However, interestingly, I think the vast majority, if not all of them, we’re out swingers.
I know there’s lots of ifs and buts and every team has them but if we had managed to capitalize on our 3-0 lead over Aberdeen we would already be sitting in 6th spot. I’d love to see us finish in top 6 and with the games we have there’s still a decent chance although we will have to maintain our form through the remaining 4 games. COYW
2 weeks before we play Aberdeen at home so we should be well rested after our efforts today. Hopefully that also means that Gent will be fully fit again. Im Assuming Slattery and Paton are out for the rest of the season but other than that we should have a fully fit squad, is that right?
It certainly feels better but bottom line is it’s same 3 points as we get for beating Livi. But yes, it’s a much better feeling, especially doing it at Ibrox.
I hope someone will be monitoring the seethe on one of their forums. I’m sure it will make good reading how they were robbed and beaten by a biased official. How we are all rabid Catholics just trying against rangers to help Celtic.
Was a fine tackle. Clearly won the ball, strong challenge under control. You can’t stop dead after you tackle. Sometimes you get hurt and it’s not a foul.
We had a few breakaway opportunities we didn’t make the most of and thought it would bite us in the bum. But credit to a much maligned (rightly a lot of the time) defense. They were immense today and scored the winner.
