Tough one for MW. Poor display yesterday and then we never play well at Killie. I can’t believe we got out of there with a point the last time but yet I’m still hoping for 3 points to set up a “playoff” game for the last one before the split

We should be putting pressure on ourselves to beat Killie. Even if we don’t make top 6 the more points we get the better. St Mirren away at Dundee and Hearts v Utd. A win could see us back in top 6, possibly only needing a draw versus Hearts in the last game, to stay there.

I’m keeping in mind that MW’s job this season is to keep us up. However, we are so close to top six that defeats like this (and how we played) are very disappointing. Still in with chance but need two victories and StMirren to drop points.

That would be good but to be honest, I’ll take any kind of performance that results in 3 points for us.

It certainly is and perhaps they might sneak top 6 but could a few twists and turns County are also on 35, same as St Mirren and play Dundee Utd and Aberdeen at home with last game away to St Mirren. Hearts play Celtic away Dundee Utd home then us at fir park Utd have County and Hearts away then St Johnstone at home Aberdeen have us at home then county away with last game Rangers at home could be a wild last 3 weeks before the split with a lot of those games hard to predict

Hope Dundee keep up the good work today. Keeps Utd within touching distance for us. need a super human effort from the team next three games and we could be sitting pretty going into the split, especially since two of the games are Aberdeen and Hearts.

That one stirs up memories of us beating spurs and also of Jumbo Muir scoring the winner against Morton in league cup replay at Ibrox. Got beat 3-0 at Cappielowe but then won 3-0’at fir park. Diving header but may have tripped over defender and fell over with ball hitting him on the head. Memory clouded after all these years 😂

Another two week break after this match so players can leave it all out on the pitch. MW has had them for two weeks to get his methods across some more. Would be big for us if we can take 3 points from this game to maintain our top six spot. MW them has another two weeks to work with most of the players before the Aberdeen game. I generally don’t like the start stop toming that goes on during the season but this time it may be to our advantage, giving the manager more practice time and allowing more recovery time for our injured players.

He’s in some good company in that squad. McTomminay and Ferguson doing well in Italy. McGinn and Christie key players for two good sides in this years EPL

He’s not a 10 million pound player just now but a team with plenty money might be willing to invest 10 million on his future.
