I hope the players are up for this game tonight. We need them to give more than just effort. For sure we have to match any intensity that county have but we need to produce a good performance on the night. No silly mistakes and take our chances when they come along. Having said that, the bottom line and all that really matters, is 3 points in the bag. COYW!!!

I have to agree the pitch did not look up to its usual standard. As mentioned by previous poster it may be due to under soil heating being used, I don’t know. Not sure that grass will grow back during Feb/March? we have around 7 to 9 games left then it can rest and recover and we’ll see how it looks next season.

Any official statement from the club as to business finished or one or two possibilities still in the works?

A couple of wins and it should lift the spirits and atmosphere. However, easier said than done but other than the ugly sisters we have a reasonable chance to pick up 3 points in any game. Cut out the silly mistakes and take our chances. Probably, if you look at most of our goals conceded, a high percentage are due to basic errors and switching off mentally. Not too many are what you would look at say, “That was a well worked goal” or “what a scorcher”. Perhaps our new players will help to reduce our mistakes and mental lapses and see us perhaps end up comfortably above the play off spot

And don’t forget the suspensions after silly yellows

I hope he plays regular and progresses to realize his full potential.
