Ok I’ve not been paying attention. Who a Tawanda? Has he played previously?

Don’t know the capacity for the stand but if it’s a real Concern then the club could reduce it and say that “in the interests of safety, we are reducing the capacity of the stand for all visiting teams to xxxx amount”. Of course it might only affect Celtic and Rangers (perhaps a city team in a very good year) but clearly our statement is addressed to all teams 😀

Perhaps something is being overlooked or maybe it was all fine as the CEO says.

I thought we played better against Celtic than Dundee. As mentioned above I think Kaleta, Sparrow and AP showed up well enough to merit a starting position in future games. Now we just need SK to shift Miller back a bit and find a partner for AP. Or a midfield that will support and create chances for AP. Moses has shown that he can score but again we need to create the chances for him. There’s a decent team to be had from our squad but SK needs to figure out what that is and if we go with it for all games or so we change depending on who the opposition are. To be honest I’m not sure what our best team/set up is but then again I haven’t put much thought into it

Even if we get beat in this one we will still be in 5th spot, barring a heavy defeat and others winning by a large margin. So not a total disaster but as has been mentioned, the league will become very compressed, so getting a point or three will help us maintain what gap there is. A win would be excellent and see us leapfrog Utd into 4th spot. As we go through the season and get our long term injured back we may reap the benefits of having a large squad to get us through a long hard season.

I think everyone wants to win both games but as you say, winning a semi v rangers to get to a final lingers a lot more in your memory than a league win at Tannadice. you loose the semi then we are out, no final. Loose to Utd we have most of the season to recover from that. Let’s hope we beat both of them! COYW!

Positives today were Kaleta, Stam and Sparrow getting extended playing time. Thought all 3 showed up well and hopefully start again against Utd.

Decent half although Celtic had more control after they scored. Bit unlucky hitting the wood work a couple of times. Did ref give a Free kick to Celtic after Miller hit the bar? I noticed he touched the rebound first but can’t recall if ref penalized that or not.

I hate Forest playing against us. We have trouble dealing with him running at us and taking players on.

It’s almost like modern day coaches have forgot about tactics like that. Prime example is Modric for Croatia. We’ve played them a couple of times recently and we just let him roam free. I think Davor could probably do a good job on McGregor. Doesn’t take skill, just terrier like determination and a focus on being right in McGregors face, wherever he goes. Give Davor that role and slide Miller back.

For me, when we pick up any points off them, it just adds to the enjoyment to hear them whine about how we should play against them and roll over or just play wide open at the back. I mean how dare we take any points off them.

Still haven’t seen any info on this. Will he be available for Sunday?
