It’s hard on us coming away from that with no points. Rangers ended up getting a lot of chances towards the end as we flung everything forward. To go to Ibrox and have 55% posession is something I don’t think a Motherwell team has done in a long long time. Keep in mind we also played without our top scorer amd I think Cook coukd also have made a difference. We made enough good chances to where we could have scored at least one goal but as we all know, that is our weakness at the moment. We just have to be hopeful that we can fix that in January but understandable if we have to wait till next season. While it’s a disappointing result, I’m not disappointed in our performance and I think it’s a fair statement to say that Rangers are no better a team than us, so with half the season still to go we still have a lot to play for.

Does anyone know for sure if VAR team reviewed the incident or not. Watching the game on MFCTV I got the impression that they never even reviewed it but that’s just my impression. I was screaming PK when it happened.

Im pretty sure we are not getting a proven striker but perhaps something along the lines of Beireth, who was talented but was not considered first team material. Or someone who was scoring but now not commanding a first team place. I don’t care if it’s a transfer or a loan, as long as they can come here and score for us.

I’m sure they’ll be looking to beat us by 5 goals so that they can got top of the league, since Hearts don’t have a game on Tuesday

Would like to see the Fadinger PK claim from VAR angles. At the time I thought it was a PK but haven’t seen it back to tell if it was or not. Purely just for my own interest, it’s done and over now so just want to see if ref/VAR made right call.

Thought O’Donnell played well when he came on. I see Slattery taking some stick but I thought he was decent when he came on, not so much Osong though. For a while I had been giving our forwards the benefit of the doubt, saying that we didn’t give them decent service. Now though, I think we have been creating more chances but not taking them. While i think top priority is a striker for us we might also work on some shooting practice for the team. 😳

We just have to be patient. The good work that JBA has done so far is astounding. He can’t fix everything at once and I’m surprised by how much he has fixed already. Players are going to have off days, bad spells, good spells and today we had several players with off days yet managed to have slightly more posession than Rangers did and could have been a goal or two up after 20 mins if had a goal scorer. disappointing result but still not a team in the league that we should fear.

Not getting much at all from Hendry or Said. said has been surprisingly disappointing. Just had been caught several times on the ball but is contributing.

We have not taken 2 or 3 good chances we created. Hopefully JBA can get us set up for the second half. our first 20 mins was excellent.

If we remain unbeaten through the next two games we are in with a realistic chance of finishing 2,3 or 4 and an outside chance of 1 Hearts wouldn’t need to have a total collapse but a few more draws or loose the odd game here and there would bring them back much closer to us. Unless Celtic and Rangers drastically improve over January both of them are capable of dropping points against any team in the league. as someone stated earlier, this is not a normal season.

You’d think they would make it easy for motherwell supporters to buy tickets, especially for such a big game. Surely a better way than having to go to the office. How do they know they are selling to Motherwell supporters?

He does know that pretty recently we just had 19 changes over a few games? Or maybe he doesn’t but I’m more than happy for the media to write us off and underestimate us. the league table doesn’t lie.

Celtic should also have easily beat Utd. They missed a handful of sitters but regardless I hope they are mentally on a downer.

Want to see him and his team do well but then I also want him back ASAP so hope does well and they narrowly miss qualifying
