Very composed finish. I wonder if he thought he was offside and relaxed for the finish? Initially focused on the vicinity around him I though he might have been off but then when you see the replay with defender on the other side playing him on by a mile, you wonder how the hell the linesman called it offside. Yes, my meter was indicating that way but wasn’t 100% sure. I was at that game. It was a good old fashioned cup tie. It used to be cup ties had much more intensity and atmosphere about them but not so much anymore. Cup ties just seem like regular old league games.

I’d be more than happy to see Kelly play out his career at Fir Park. The distribution thing is strange. When he first came to us I thought his distribution was excellent but it seems to have fallen away a bit. I would have thought that with a little bit of work and focus his distribution could be back as good as it ever was.

By all accounts we didn’t play well in the cup game and only got beat by a wonder goal. I’m sure our players will be up for some revenge and should be full of confidence and hopefully SK will have them primed ready to go. Going into this game with desire and confidence I think we can take all 3 points but they will have to be well earned. 2-0 COYW!!!

That’s the thing though, any team can be a Leicester. As you mention, highly unlikely, but it is possible. For me the big thing that made them successful was that they managed to eliminate their stupid mistakes. A good team of solid hard working performers doing simple stuff. Every SPFL team should be aspiring for that one glorious season and every team should be going into games against the OF making sure that they know they have been in a game. Yes, it may be the “impossible” dream but if you don’t have that dream and desire then you’re beat before you even kick a ball.

He did for a while but not surprisingly got tired. SK eventually subbed him but I thought he could have done it sooner

I liked what I saw from Shaw in his brief appearance. Really happy we managed to retain big Dan as well. Midfield put in hell of a shift too.
