  1. We strolled thru the first half. Looked more dangerous than hearts did. We started the second half well and were looking comfortable till we shot ourselves in the foot again.
  2. I thought we were doing fine but giving them the goal from the free kick killed it. One moment loosing concentration. You can’t let Shankland run onto a free header like that.
  3. Gent injury by looks of it. Vale is putting in a good shift!!
  4. Of course being a well fan that makes You worry even more, waiting on that one slip up or freaky but of bad luck
  5. Need to do better with our breaks and chances but decent so far
  6. Yes he ground to a halt and then poor effort
  7. Wee bit of compose needed by Vale to pick out Bair
  8. What position does Wells play. I don’t know anything about him
  9. Considering we play Celtic next week on Sunday and Livi on Wednesday I would have played him today and then rest him against Celtic prior to the Livi game. So I suppose we will find out soon why he is not playing but resting him this game doesn’t sound the best option. whatever it is let’s hope it’s not serious.
  10. It seems my understanding of the VAR is not correct. I thought they would review all goals and penalties for any obvious refereeing errors. If any doubts then the ref and VAR team would review video and ref would make the final decision. I notice in the article that they said several times no VAR review should have been recommended. The scary thing is that when they reviewed it they were all getting it wrong!!!
  11. One would assume your interpretation would be correct that the first foul committed after the corner would be the outcome of the review. It would certainly help fans if the referee/VAR crew provided explanations, at the very least, post match, as to their review process and how decision was arrived at. Of course such an act would/could be quite embarrassing for the officials. It wasn’t just a little tug. As you state blatantly 2 handfuls, stopping him from moving.
  12. Is there a “safe” number of points to avoid play off spot? Maybe 37 being in top 6 would be great but hopefully by the split we can be safe from play off spot.
  13. I’m pretty confident we will win, loose or draw this one.
  14. 80% of statistics are only 50% correct 20% of the time
  15. Didn’t see the game today but just watched the highlights. Bair was excellent for his second goal. His movement to shake off his marker before a composed Tap in was great to see. Thats him now up to equal third scorer, with 10 goals, behind Shankland and Miovski.
  16. I’d be ok with SK continuing to be our manager for next season, which I believe will still be in the top flight.
  17. I’d like 2 up top as well but that makes us weaker in midfield but might still be worthwhile trying it with Vale and Bair
  18. We need to be careful and not make too many changes. Yes, Friday was a nightmare but yet the Tuesday was sublime. In our 8 games since the County nightmare only rangers have beat us. Won2, drew5 and lost that one game. We have had 2 shut outs and only rangers and hibs scored 2 against us. We are not that far away that we need to be making wholesale changes. I think that’s where we went wrong initially. We went on a bad run of results but playing well. We made a bunch of changes and our performances dropped off a cliff. We are inconsistent and we need to “tweak” rather than totally change things. With respect to Kelly he hasn’t really cost us enough the last 8 league games to warrant being dropped for an untested keeper.
