Yes, need more from Spittal, Slattery and Paton. We also don’t appear to be trying to manufacture opportunities for Gent and Spencer to get forward and throw crosses in.

Yes, we need to get more crosses from Spencer. Gent seemed to have more room/success than Spencer did last week. The more crosses we get in the more chance of scoring. Also, having St Mirren have to deal with wide threats should leave more room in middle.

I’m pretty sure they know what to do we just have to do it. When we turn the ball over you need to apply pressure on the ball to slow down the opposition attack or preferably win the ball back, high up the park. So in essence you have to move up and down the field as a team otherwise it’s hard to put pressure on the opposition. We were doing a great job of that (playing as a unit) earlier in the season and it’s one of those basics that we need to re learn. It takes concentration and effort and I think for our players they just have trouble applying that concentration and effort every week. Hopefully we find the trigger to get them back in that mindset very soon.

Agree with that l, except weighted balls over the top for him to run onto are fine but yes, we do have to ditch the hit and hope long balls we have been seeing far too often.

Yep. Davor done enough to merit starting V St Mirren as did Gent. I’d also start Bair along side Mika based on his short performance yesterday.

I would start Davor and Gent again and probably Bair alongside Mika. SK must be thinking hard about dropping Kelly.

I’d take basic stuff like pass and move. If they just done that we would look 10 times better but the lack of movement off the ball, showing for passes is abysmal

That’s my worry. Almost got sucker punched right before the half but luckily Kane just couldn’t connect properly.

The way we play I think we need someone more mobile than Obika. I’d put Shaw in there for Obika. Haven’t used Spencer up the right as much as I’d like to see. To many long balls still.
