Don’t see how continual rain would result in anything less than the match being off. hopefully there will be some rare common sense applied to provide an early notice of the game being cancelled. If the pitch is unplayable tomorrow and further rain is forecast then call the game off on Friday, why wait till Saturday.

If it’s not postponed it will probably be a mud bath and a lottery. Not a game of football so I think postponing it might be to our benefit for reasons stated in other posts and also ao it doesn’t take away from our football.

But if we win tomorrow we are only 8 off the top. If we then win our next league game then we are only 2 behind rangers Hearts are missing Shankland and Devlin for a few games and might struggle over the next few games. Any team is capable of dropping points against almost any other team in the run in. So I don’t think we need to win all of our games but if we did I’m pretty sure that would guarantee us being champions.

That doesn’t seem very long. Celtic rangers Falkirk Livi and Killie have all been ahead of us at various stages in a game.

I think he’s a big part of our team who know exactly how JBA wants him to play and yes it means changes for cup games but JBA has been making changes for numerous games so I’m not too worried about that.

Like any investment it would have risks, as would investing it in the wages of any other player. But the higher we finish the more Money we make plus a higher finish gives us a better shot at European football. With Welsh, we Know exactly what we are getting. With another player there’s probably added risk.

Not sure of exact figures but I’ve seen it said that Welsh is on 10k a week at Celtic. Not sure what percentage of his wages we were paying or what a “normal” wage is for our players but if Celtic are being pain in the ass about a loan we could perhaps offer to cover his full wage. If we were paying 50% anyway (a complete guess) paying another 50% would just be an extra 75k. (5K x 15 weeks) which I think would be a good investment to keep him on our team for the remainder of this season.
