Hoping at Mirren win tonight.

That doesn’t seem very long. Celtic rangers Falkirk Livi and Killie have all been ahead of us at various stages in a game.

Might be time for a wee flutter. £5 Motherwell to win the league (125/1) £5 Motherwell to win the cup (16/1) £5 Motherwell to win the league and the cup. I can honestly say we are the best team I have seen in the league this year, so why not!

I think he’s a big part of our team who know exactly how JBA wants him to play and yes it means changes for cup games but JBA has been making changes for numerous games so I’m not too worried about that.

Do that for 3 or 4 months then off down to England, get sign on fee to cover the lost wages amd get better than the 10k Celtic giving him and get to play regular first team football.

Like any investment it would have risks, as would investing it in the wages of any other player. But the higher we finish the more Money we make plus a higher finish gives us a better shot at European football. With Welsh, we Know exactly what we are getting. With another player there’s probably added risk.

Not sure of exact figures but I’ve seen it said that Welsh is on 10k a week at Celtic. Not sure what percentage of his wages we were paying or what a “normal” wage is for our players but if Celtic are being pain in the ass about a loan we could perhaps offer to cover his full wage. If we were paying 50% anyway (a complete guess) paying another 50% would just be an extra 75k. (5K x 15 weeks) which I think would be a good investment to keep him on our team for the remainder of this season.

Top 6 not secured yet but getting close. Definitely not given up hope of the unthinkable yet, especially if we win our next two games against Dundee and Rangers. everyone in the top 6 is capable of taking points off any other team.

Edging closer to clinching top 6 place Aberdeen need 6 games to overtake us amd only 9 games till the split. Although Dundee Utd might turn out to be the team challenging for top 6 rather than Aberdeen since Utd have games in hand
