I think Bair had supporting midfielders arriving but by time Shaw was on he was totally isolated with midfield run in out of steam. I’d like to see them switch roles and start Shaw to see how he does with more time on the field.

Be interesting to see how we play and what players SK selects as we get the squad back to full strength.

Miller put a shift in and you could tell he emptied the tank. Slattery, yet another solid performance, McGinn, Bevis and Casey very steady but Paton had yet another outstanding game.

Your initial comment does raise the questions….. who drops out for the second striker and how will it affect our midfield ?

Fair comment perhaps but I’d say from his limited minutes Shaw looks to have a bit more speed and skill. I’d like to see him get more time. Maybe not start but maybe on at half time or at least by 60 mins unless Bair is playing a blinder.

Seems like some short memories on display as well. KVV wasn’t averse to missing some easy chances. First half of last season he missed a good number of chances and also took stick for some of his performances.

I hope we perform just as well next week but add in a goal Or two.

Thought that was Slattery’s Brest game in a ‘well shirt. He’s like a different player thus season.

Considering the pathetic shambles we were before SK tooK over this is a splendid display. Yes, we are struggling to score but you can’t fix everything in one go. First SK fixed the defence and now we have. Midfield playing some very nice football and making chances. I’m sure SK will address the scoring issue too.
