There's catholic and proddie muslims now? I knew someone would comment on that! It is true though about the Muslim supporters... there's a minority in every support. Although I'm sure Muslims supporting Rangers or Celtic fans don't have Catholic or Protestant persuasions!!! Déjà vu! Good to see fans of other teams complimenting it!

I seem to remember when Rangers & Celtic started selling the jerseys without sponsors it was to do with their Muslim fans. In fact, after a quick Google search, I've found an article on it: Linkage It'll certainly be a reason like that why Hibs give fans the option of buying shirts without the sponsor. To be honest if I had the choice over buying a shirt with or without a sponsor I'd probably still get the one with the sponsor. A: It's the same as the players', so a proper replica and B: I think club shirts look weird without sponsors on them. I always thought West Brom's jersey looked odd because of the lack of a sponsor last season. Of course I'm younger than 30, so club teams have always had sponsors on their jerseys in my time and so I'm used to it. It's different for the older generations!!! (Having said the above, I'm sitting wearing the orange Barcelona away shirt from a couple of years ago that has no sponsor. But Barca were the exception to clubs having sponsors, and I bought this jersey before their UNICEF deal.)

I wasn't bothered if they were tighter either seeing as how I'm built like a rake! I would have preferred it to be tighter/more fitted to be honest! Anyway, looking forward to checking out the new jersey in the flesh. Some comments of praise on FootballShirtCulture.com too.

I like it overall. Things I'm not a fan of though - the collar and and the white piping round the claret on the sleeves and collar. The shorts. Plus points - The badge and logo in the centre, and the hoop is back! What's the fit like? Tighter/skninier? I had a quick look at the training gear, which I was looking forward to seeing as I'd looked at Pompey's stuff and some of that was quality. Not really a fan of a couple of the things as they've got that same design as the Scotland rugby shirts. Still I'm sure some of the other gear will be good!

That's better than my theory on his Canterbury hatred!!! Rowan Williams is a bit of a lad though by all accounts...
-
TheLip is very angry indeed. He's easily wound up by something he said he didn't care about. I think it must all stem from his hate for Canterbury. Canterbury of New Zealand must have been responsible for some personal tragedy or trauma during TheLip's childhood. Chill out!

I'm of this opinion too. The way things are going just now it doesn't look like he'll be our manager next season. If that's the case, fair enough, thanks for the 3rd place finish last season, Mark, but let's move on. Still, I'm hoping he stays as I reckon he's one of the best managers we've had in my 25 years of following the 'Well.

Thirded for Firhill!!! Nothing to do with it being near me either...

Actually that's a good point. Let's walk before we run!

Tremendous news! Nancy was absolutely amazing last year, so can't wait for the draw. Bring it on!!! It'd be great to get through 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 rounds this time!!!
-
Naw! Go buy a programme out the shop if yer that desperate to see it !!! Seriously though, it's the same collar as the current shirt with a white trim instead of amber, and there's some claret stitching on the jersey.
-
Excellent news. Big well done to Flow and Bobby Jenks! Great to see their hard work being rewarded. No a bad save fae Buzz either!

I really can't see why TheLip is going all apoplectic over this to be honest. He seems to be taking it a wee bit too seriously when there are far bigger things to be worrying and moaning about than the teaser campaign for Motherwell FC's new home kit!!! Although I seem to recall in the thread about the kit that he's not happy at all about Canterbury being the maker... or something along those lines. Said he wasn't going to be buying it even though he hasn't seen it. I don't know if he usually buys the tops, but if he does it's a bit strange, fair enough though, he's entitled to take that stance if he wants. His point's been made now though, so hopefully that's that.

How good would it be to have St Mirren needing us to beat Killie on the last day for them to stay up!!! Tremendous today by the way!!! That's two times this season I've not went to away games I usually always go to (Dundee Utd 0-4 and today) and we've pumped the opposition both times. Serves me right I suppose.

Aye, I thought that was probably the case. A bit unfortunate, but sh!t happens I suppose!!! So teaser 3 is in the next programme, is teaser 4 gonna be in the programme for the final home game? Or will that be put on the website perhaps with the full reveal being in the final home game's programme?

That's crap that your friends and family can't come along to watch. Is that cos they'd have had to pay for stewarding and stuff or what? -

Fuck it. Just give the place to Falkirk!!! They like to play an attacking game. They play the game in the right manner. They like to get the ball down and play. They like to pass the ball. The like to make pretty passing patterns on the pitch. Actually... maybe I shouldn't be taking the piss after Saturday. -
Yeah, I'd agree with this too. It's been good to have something a bit different for our kit launch this time. Just a shame the previews are spaced out so much. Still cannae wait to see the kits though!!!

If the Scottish Cup Final was contested by two teams that had already qualified for Europe through the league, i.e Hearts v Celtic, then the Europa League place from the Scottish Cup would have been given to the 5th placed SPL team.
