Yeah, they done well tonight eh? ;o) Can you imagine this place if that was us? Some would have McCall hung drawn & quartered if we were seeded, got beat at home and subsequently knocked out!
-
Good, wise decision from McCall.

I've not got an email. Didn't get the McManus one either, but receive the other newsletters. Odd. Anyway... Sounds like awesome news!!!
-
Sorry, forgot how transparent I need to be... but, I'm still working on the details of the reasons, so I have no update on them.
-
I really don't think the club should be making specific things like that public for two or three reasons.

There's more snaps up on the Facebook page: Clicky I've had worse nights!

I had that white Matchwinner away top when I was a kid. Absolute quality shirt looking back on it. Love the badge on it too. As for this new one, not for me at all. Only echoing others, but it looks like a goalie kit or training kit, it looks distinctly off the shelf with a 'Well badge stuck on it, no Motherwell colours in it so could belong to any team. Ho hum. Can't really see it being worn that much anyway.

Like the socks and the white shorts could work at times. That shirt though... I don't like it at all. Collar's bad, the claret panels with white trim on the side are bad. It's just messy, really. Not averse to claret sleeves though. Would have preferred something a bit simpler. £40 saved! Hoping the away shirt is more to my liking!

My thoughts exactly, weeyin. Genuinely worried about one of our guys picking up an injury in this game. From reports, Brown seems to have turned them into a bunch of hatchet men. Result wise, we've got enough to win it and really should do. I'll go for 2-1 for us.

Can't really comment on today's incident as I've not seen it, just read it was a late & dangerous lunge which doesn't sound good at all. But... How many reds has he had in the last year and a half? I can remember two last season and both were utterly stupid from him. Even more ridiculous was most of our supporters clapping him as he took the walk of shame. I suppose being "combative" is part of his game, but there's got to be a line between that and idiocy.

Same as yourself and Tweed, I've not been at a Motherwell win since the St Johnstone game in April. Missed the ICT win due to a stag weekend. Seriously thought that run was going to come to an end v Dundee seeing as how rotten they'd been. Bit of a downer that I'm now at 210 days or something like that since I saw a win. Would love that run to end tomorrow, but I reckon it'll be a draw.

Quality bit of predicting there... What a farce of a performance that was from us. Never looked confident in our defensive third in the first half, never mind the second. Too many players panicking when composure would have easily prevented problems we caused ourselves. Far too scrappy elsewhere too, In saying that, I thought we looked more dangerous attacking in the first half, but they upped it after half time, wanted the win so much more and deservedly got it. Not calling for anyone's head, that'd be ridiculous, but some of those involved in that tonight have to be having a look at themselves in the mirror and asking questions. Oh and why did we stick Hutchinson up front for the final 5 or 10 minutes and then refuse to put any high balls in for him?! We just continued our normal pattern I'd say. What was the point of that exactly?

Agree with most about the statement. It's uttery bizarre. Wondered what it was going to be when I clicked the link on Twitter, and after reading it I was still none the wiser as to what the point of it was.

Hate to sound like MJC, but I really can't see us doing anything tonight result wise. It'd be nice for us to score a goal in this Euro campaign, so for that reason alone I'll say 2-1 for Levante.
-
As mentioned, they're staying in the Radisson. Passed their team bus outside there on my way home and a group of their fans. The fans were sporting half 'n' half Motherwell/Levante scarves. It was quite an odd sight! (Not sure if the scarves were the ones from our club shop or theirs)
-
I see they drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid at home tonight...
-
Beattie isn't available for them today.
-
Quite fancy this, but leaving from Glasgow for my mate's stag in Berlin at 9 the morning after the game. It couldn't have been arranged for a worse weekend! Reckon my only option would be to fork out for the charter which the club are looking into, providing it comes back immediately after the game.

Not watched the highlights or read much about the match, but happy with a point. Would have taken that pre-match.
-
Well done, lads. Looking forward to seeing this.
-
Great idea. I'd also drop Stevie Hammell for Zane Francis Angol & Lasley for Hetherington, cos they'd play pure amazing too knowing they could secure first team spots...
-
Really looking forward to the draw. Won't be able to go to the away leg regardless of who we get, but it's still exciting!
