Ok let’s get the overall discussion of the game first . Imo lucky to get a point , poor spectacle , Killie worked hard for there point and could have won it 2nd half . Then the sending off . WTF . Seriously that was ridiculous/embarrassing. No matter how you try to analyse that if that’s a sending of then OMG might be time to Chuck it . If that’s not overturned 😳. To be given a chance to correct his decision then stick to his guns is beyond ridiculous. Who is this guy . Is he actually a referee

Not happening . I asked CEO this very direct question at the meet the manager /ceo night . The response from CEO was 1. No medium or long term plans to move 2. Cost prohibitive and sale of ground would be fraction of what we need ,unlike St Mirren who got good money for prime site commercial land . Was fairly short response but certainly he put any idea of moving to bed

With a few days left before voting closes I’m still in the undecided group for my remaining selections . I’m looking to have as broad a selection in my voting as possible but there is quite a lot of overlapping between candidates re. what there going to bring to the table . The small videos are great but a simple list of what there main priorities and specialisms will be if elected would help . There’s a lot of overlap which I believe makes it tricky for members voting . On the plus side some outstanding candidates who are enthusiastic and appear to be more than capable of doing a sterling job .

We can obviously learn lessons from what happened over last few weeks but not to the point of obsession . That’s the past now let’s look ahead to the future with a revitalised WS board , executive board and even more importantly in my opinion an enthused and hopefully more engaged WS membership pulling together as one . The WS board as excellent as they have done are only as strong as its members and this has proved to be the case of late. I know it’s an old cliche but our strength moving forward will be down to our unity and engagement as one . Let’s keep this energy going forward, , thank the WS board for working on our behalf and push on with the plans outlined in the WS document. Let’s get right behind them the CEO and whoever will be the new Chair . They deserve that chance

Honestly all these injuries before a ball is kicked . Why is this happening so often . It’s more than a coincidence . Every season it seems to be the same . 6 injuries before a ball is kicked in earnest before a ball is kicked is utterly ridiculous

Outstanding piece of work carried out by the WS board . Amazing what fresh faces with good ideas can bring to the table . Possibly a good time to point out how important it is to have your vote count when electing members to the board . Your vote and who you vote for really matters it really does Pragmatic and just as import achievable with endless opportunities to expand /progress. As a fan of 53 years of going to FP and watching my team I’m very happy as to the future vision where it’s safeguarded by like minded people . A club embedded in our community . Mr Barmack if your reading this I’m sure if you didn’t get it before then you must surely get it now . Do the honourable thing . If you don’t I’m sure the WS members will do it on your behalf .PA only thing I’m not entirely in line with is the bit that going to FP has health benefits . I’m pretty sure it’s been a place where my blood pressure has been well and truly tested over the years 😃💪

Absolutely . Brian Caldwell seems to be one smart guy . Kept his powder dry when it would have been tempting to get involved. I like that . Dont think it would take a Mensa IQ to figure out what he’s saying . Hopefully we’ll get this whole debacle done and dusted by end of July and move on at WS and Exec board (whoever that may be ). On a personal note thanks to all the posters who seem to understand decipher all these share figures /percentages . An o-level in arithmetic at school isn’t helping . Been very helpful .

This whole investment business has exposed a lot of disfuntion between exec board and WS . This for me has been the biggest disappointment to come out of this wholly undignified negotiation. I said in a previous post that EB coming on to fans forum is very unprofessional. Yes by him doing so it’s exposed his proposition and not necessarily to his advantage, but why can any correspondence not be done via emails etc . What other professional business conducts itself like this ?. Maybe I’m old school and this is the new way /new normal of doing things in the name of transparency etc etc but I’ve found it cringey. Finally I’m actually not sure who I’m most disappointed with The exec board is right up there near the top but wtf have the WS being doing since it’s inception while taking our direct debits for years . No reflection on the incoming guys but what about the rest . Massively disappointed how it’s been previously mismanaged . To end on a more positive note I’m hopeful the WS proposals have got a serious plan . No point rushing this it has to be credible so take your time and get this right . Re Eric Well was happy to have investment on board but imo it’s so tarnished that even if it did go through now it’s going to be met with a lot of scepticism. Time he walked away and we pick up the pieces when he’s gone . It’ll take time to fix but if anything it’s at least exposed the problems at the club which need to be corrected so we can move forward as one

Call me old fashioned but over on P&B we’ve got the another negotiating team corresponding with EB . To be fair he seems fine with it ie. transparency and all that stuff . Just doesn’t seem/feel right to me . Openness is fine but Jesus Christ surely not on a fans forum . The way this whole thing is unraveling is not a good look . Kettlewell must be astonished at what’s going on and not ideal for enticing players to the club . These last few day have been a total eye opener and imo totally disheartening. Kettlewell said he wanted everyone pulling in the same direction a he’s got the opposite . Divided Ex.board and WS board divided fans ,EB on P&B sound boarding and resignations . Whoever is responsible for this car crash should hold there head/heads in shame . This must go down as a learning tool on how not to conduct negotiations. From a totally pissed off normally glass half full kinda person .

Of the players offered the opportunity to stay I’m happy with O’Donnell and McGinn resigning. Obviously people have there opinions …. that’s football supporters and how they see it, but not so keen on Mugabi resigning . He seems to be ok in a flat back four but put him in a three and he really is poor ,positionally and decision making . All the more bizzare in that Kettlewell prefers a kinda back three. Would like to see a commanding CH who also has a wee bit pace as backline isn’t the quickest . Last year we lost some shocking goals and this season that must improve to stay up . We can’t rely on out scoring teams . That usually ends in tears . Having said all that I’m sure Kettlewell and Frail know what’s needed . The hard bit is getting them in the door . Im of the opinion, as I was last season that 2-3 really good players down the spine would make a massive difference to this team .

Shouldn’t be too long now to we here what’s happening and get some meat on the bones . Now I’ve had a bit of time to think about it providing we can come to agreements with both parties then a joint venture would my favoured option. The reason I’m saying this is in part due to how other clubs seem to be out manoeuvring us financially by varying degrees . The old adage was that money won’t buy you success but maybe not so true nowadays . As an older supporter of the mighty Well it probably wouldn’t bother me too much if relegated and playing in the championship as I would still enjoy going albeit it I’d prefer to stay in the top league . This brings me to the conclusion that financial clout would perhaps keep us up but without it …… who knows but possibly would put us down the pecking order financially and into lower league . So I’m hoping a mutual partnership would be my favoured option again on the proviso we do due diligence and don’t sell the club down the river . Interesting times ahead

The way I see it panning out is that if the executive board and investor come to agreement then this will be looked at by the major shareholder , the Well Society and from there the members of the WS will be given a vote . This vote I’m pretty sure as with most similar negotiations will come with a recommendation from the Well Society board as to whether they think we should accept or reject and and there reasons for that . However as similar to any trade union negotiations it will be up to the members to have the final say whatever the Well Society Board recommend /say . One thing I’d like to see is a meeting being held by the Well Society prior to any voting of its members with representatives from all interested parties present to allow us a to then make an informed decision . This happened when the Well Society came to fruition with a well attended meeting at the Alona Hotel when all parties were represented and I think it would certainly help any undecided members on how to cast there vote .

It would be fun to watch though some of the people who post on here sitting in the boardroom during commercial and legal proceedings . Id pay to watch that . Pure comedy gold . Unfortunately £10 /month subscription wouldn’t get us a seat in the boardroom to watch that sketch

Executive board seem to be doing what any other business would do in this type of negotiations. outwith football Jim McMahon im sure has a knowledge of how this all works and I’m relatively relaxed .with how things are progressing . For me a simple update is sufficient at this stage and as a £10 month Well Society member I’m not sure why I’d need to now much more at this stage of the negotiations or how my complete lack of knowledge on how these things work by throwing in my tuppence/thoughts would help proceedings Why don’t we just wait and see what the proposals are when finalised , see what the executive board recommend following these discussions then based on all that vote whatever way you think is best for the club going forward . That tends to be how things work in any walk of life and as far as I can see this is no different . Ok I get the anxiety some people may have at this stage about updates and info etc etc but that’s how business transaction’s/dealings tend to work . Im sure the executive board said they would be using a specialist /legal team to pour over the detail to prevent us being bitten or words to that effect Dont think I need to know much more that that at this stage tbh . So for the next 6 weeks think we need to be patient . It’s not that long to wait tbh .

Spoke to a friend of mine who worked for St Mirren during period new CEO was there . They said he is a get things done kinda bloke , well respected ,good at engaging with people and were sorry to loose him as he definitely made a difference . So hopefully (fingers crossed )he can bring the same qualities to FP Hopefully the transition period over next week will give him a handle on things and he can hit the ground running . Now for the next part re . the investment side . The appointment probably throws up more questions than answers re .investment side but I’m sure we’ll find out soon where we’re going with that . Im also pretty sure the new guy must be comfortable-relaxed with the ongoing negotiations as otherwise why would he have accepted the appointment. Anyway things seem to be moving along now
