Centre midfield in a 3 with Campbell + another, but not as a #10, because as you pointed out, it's not suited to his game. Driving runs from deeper in midfield are where we'd get the best out of him in a 3-5-2 if that's what Robbo is going to persist with. I'd love to see us try a 3-4-3 with Cadden at RW but I doubt that's going to happen.
-
Non-starter for me I'm afraid. Cadden plays best wide of a front three or as an out and our right midfielder/winger. He's also not a wing back, whereas Tait can play there.

I'm not contesting that bullying can happen anywhere. Just sharing (from personal experience, might I add) that discussing anything that could have a legal implication for other persons on a public forum, even if it's speculation or otherwise can cause problems for people.

Having Peter Lim as your majority shareholder won't hurt, either.

I would suggest from the tone of that there might be ongoing legal issues in the background... Probably best to leave this topic well enough alone for now.

Bigi.

I was watching some of the highlights from this season the other day and looking at a lot of the goals we scored (particularly earlier in the season) were from creative midfielders driving at the opposition's penalty area and sliding in a striker for a finish. We then tended to lose that as the season progressed, as the formation of having 3 combative midfielders in a 5 across the middle became the staple. Whilst I agree we need a goalscorer (which as you point out will be difficult) I think our biggest need is a proper box to box midfielder with a bit of creativity to feed Main and Bowman's feet in and around the box, as they're both powerful enough to either take it into feet, turn and get a shot away, or out-muscle a defender to get on a through ball and finish. Now, my dream is that it may well be Campbell next year as I think that's the next step in his natural progression; you can see glimpses of what he can do (goal against Rangers for example) but I also don't think we should be putting that kind of pressure on him and let him develop at his own pace. I'd love it if Bigi got a chance but I just can't see it as you'd have to kick out one of the other midfielders to accommodate him. We didn't really get to see a lot of what Tanner and Main could do together this season because of Tanner's injury. I think that relationship will be crucial to Main kicking on and scoring more regularly next season.

From what I've heard (reliable sauce, like) EPL and top end Championship clubs are chasing him - so not beyond the realms of possibility.

Carson. He gets a lot of mentions but (in my eyes) not the full credit he is due. He's been our player of the season and the reason we've gotten so far in the cup competitions. Everyone will remember Carl's goal (and Moult's in the semi-final) but won't remember the 15+ crosses, 4 world class saves and countless others he's made in those games. Easily our most consistent performer this season and my POTY by some distance.

I just took a look at them there and other than the 1st half of the Dundee game from October they're all from last season and before (going back to 2015). Quite unfortunate as I would've loved to have heard Hartley's Imrie chat.

Kane Hemmings seemed to fit the bill. Right league, unsettled...

You're such a beacon of hope and positivity in these dark times.

I always thought that Tait was two footed? I've said for months that he's the first fullback we've had in years that I can remember being equally capable with both feet.
-
We also didn't have the resources available that the current groundsman does - the UV lamps for use on the pitch have clearly made a phenomenal difference as they negate the lack of sun caused by the south stand.

Is there any way you can get the commentary again? Sounds like it's worth a listen! -

Quite happy with that. Ciftci and Main looked good and so did Aldred until he went off. Proper blood and guts defending from him. Tanner had his best game in a ‘Well shirt and thought Rose had a terrific game too. Not many complaints; time to build for Wednesday night. -

Current forecast suggests light snow right through until Friday night; my parents live a street away from FP and say there's about 3" or so. They've also just issued another amber warning for tonight/Thursday - Motherwell is right on the cusp of it so might catch some of it. -
I'm reminded of an image of Kevin McBride that did the rounds. Massive schlong.

I think my issue with Hartley - and in some ways the entire team - is that Robinson's playing style promotes agressive play like his, leading to mistakes and these types of incidents. There's a fine line between passion, commitment and downright thuggery and I'm concerned that it may boil over in a similar way to Saturday at least once more this season. Which may well provided a spark, true, but if it also leads to suspensions, it needs toned down.

It was reported directly to Alan Burrows on Twitter, asking for clarification as to who released the seats above the Motherwell supporters. I also reported it directly to two police officers standing next to me after friends had coins thrown at them and I was (successfully, might I had) spat on.
-
He's done that a fair few times over his Motherwell career - I get that he thinks he can score from anywhere and I'm delighted to have a striker like that in our team; however, your point is 100% correct. Needs to take the percentage play for the guaranteed goal.

I'd go with Orbiston Street (behind the Tesco) as it'll give them a quick getaway to the M8 and avoids Airbles/Hamilton Road.

Credit where it's due, there weren't many poor performers yesterday. I thought Tait and Kipré were both off the boil a bit in the first half but improved in the second. Went for Carson, as he kept us in it with some crucial saves - some of them were right at him but he held onto them and didn't give up any rebounds, which was absolutely crucial in the first half.
