  1. He already has in another thread though, and also stated his reason for not changing it.

You mean they hadn't all left? I thought it was just 'Well fans left!

    Aberdeen

I'm not going to another away game this season - I've been to three since Broony took charge: Hearts (and for all you pedantics, I know he wasn't "in charge" for that game ), Inverness and Falkirk. Whenever I don't go we win, heh! Still, GIRUY McGhee!
  4. I'd really like Jennings to get a run in the side - by his own admission he wasn't fit when he arrived, he didn't really make it back to match fitness until November I think... He looks like a much tidier, more composed version of Klimpl - someone that would be a great addition to the team.
  5. Yep, was a shocking challenge. Quite why he was smiling I don't know...
  6. I'd start Jennings for Coke and Humphrey for Forbes, personally.

    Falkirk

Definitely Mark Reynolds, but as above - Lasley and Murphy played well too.
  8. What Al said. Just in from the game and Falkirk were gash. Craigan probably could've bagged a hat-trick tonight, certainly had at least 2 free headers and another few half chances from corners. JOB was rotten tonight, kept losing the ball by running into 2 or 3 defenders when an easier pass was on, which immediately put us under pressure because he couldn't be bothered tracking back. Quite how he stayed on the pitch as long as he did I don't know - time for Humphrey to be given a run in the side. Our crossing is, for the most part, shocking. Really need to work on it more if we're going to take advantage of Sutton and Juke. Also - Juke looked a little off the pace tonight, I would probably have preferred him being rested given how bad a gash he had on Saturday. Reynolds cruised through the game - if he's off we're really in trouble. His turn of pace saved us on more than one occasion tonight. Craigan had another solid game and like I said, had a fair few chances to score. Lasley played well but tired quite badly towards the end with Coke not being there. How anyone from the 'Well support could argue Coke's tackle wasn't a sending off is beyond me. He was late, with his foot well off the ground - it was a shocking tackle. I said at half time I'd take 0-0 and well, I'm pleased with it given the circumstances of having 10 men. Still think it's 2 points dropped rather than 1 gained though.
  9. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS.

Keith Lasley for me, although the whole team gets pass-marks (some only just, mind). I would have loved Coke to have scored at the end - could he be the new Simo?
  11. We already are on Open all mics. However, the pundits admitted that it's not an isolated problem - most of the SPL pitches are a mess.
  12. Wisnae as good as driving past two bare arses in the middle of the A9 and then looking across at Neil saying: "Wis that Alan and Iain!?" Game was crap, banter was superb. As was the scran at dinner. I've got a caffeine hangover - had two large, extra strong coffees and two cans of Red Bull on the drive home.

    Inverness

Jamie Murphy for me, the only one that showed real hunger and determination in the second half. Mentions to Sutton and Juke. Anyone else there think O'Brien was trying way too hard at times?
  14. I agree - I even said it in my post just after that (perhaps in a slightly different way. )
  15. That, plus what frazzle said sums it up for me.
  16. So, Gannon's gone. Surprised? Yes. Disappointed? Yes and no. Having seen the way the team has played the past few weeks, his rather bizarre substitutions of late and in particular the arrogant air that's surrounded him recently haven't exactly filled me with confidence. Saturday against St Johntone said it all to me - we're 3-1 down with 20 minutes to go and he subs our top goalscorer for a winger that's hardly played all year because of various circumstances. He then spends the rest of the game sitting in the dugout with his arms folded in a huff. Any other manager would have been out there screaming orders at his team - encouraging them, telling them how to play the ball, doing something to get them going. He persisted in making changes to a squad that had been playing well at the start of the season - how on earth he can say we can't keep a clean sheet is beyond me. We've kept how many this season? Aberdeen, Dundee Utd, Rangers, Falkirk, Celtic and Hearts - the only one in there I'd say should be expected is Falkirk, with three of them coming in VERY difficult away games. He looked like a man that had given up - on Saturday, so I'm glad he's gone in that respect. However, I agree with Trafficlight et al - I think we've missed out on someone that will become an excellent manager in the years to come. He's his own person and not afraid to speak out - although I think he needs to learn how to speak in the "correct" way, if that makes sense - the arrogance that's come across on more than one occasion didn't exactly make me warm to him. Good luck to him in the rest of his career, but I really think that this is for the best given what's come to light today. I'll be interested to see what his reaction is to this and in particular to hear his side of the story.
  17. Exactly the same reason for me, wouldn't have been able to go otherwise.
  18. Yep, same for me. Quite looking forward to the free bar starting at 1:30.
  19. Any idea what section you're going to? Might see you there!
  20. I'll be there, my Rangers supporting mate got me a hospitality ticket. Dunno what I'll do if we score. Still, free bar and all that...
  21. Utter nonsense, I was right on the corner of the Cooper today and as soon as he realised he was never going to catch the ball he went down as quickly as he could.
