  1. As Frazzle said, same old same old. We REALLY need to start taking advantage of teams that go down to 10, and ESPECIALLY 9 men. The minute Buaben was sent off I had a terrible feeling we were going to lose a goal. Not happy at all, and I hope Gannon realises that his changes cost us today.
  2. Aye, I remember that one! I was still in the then Main Stand, seem to remember him wearing the luminous yellow strip and the headline being "Muddy Marvel" the next day.
  3. True, but I don't think he's as strong as Sutton is, something I think we'll need against Celtic.
  4. I'd agree with that... get Jenno or Lasley in the middle of the park for this one, I'd also put Sutton up-front instead of Jutkiewicz, possibly give Murphy a shot up front too - he's got the pace we've been badly missing up there the last few games.
  5. Think he might've meant whilst playing for the club mate...?

    Jim O'Brien

Not much we can do I'm afraid - if the physio wants it on, that's what tends to happen. Like I said in the other thread, Jim was happy to walk off on his own once we were on but JP told him to lie there and play it safe, which is understandable. You've also got to remember he's a professional footballer that earns money playing and you're a nutter.

Porteous thought it was his achilles at first on the pitch today, but evidently it's not as bad as he thought. All the better for us!
  8. Thought Falkirk deserved a point today, we were awful in the second half for the most part. Coke and Forbes didn't really do enough in the middle of the park today I felt - not enough challenges went in on Falkirk's midfield, particularly when our defence had just cleared the ball. Like Pie's said though - I'll take it. O'Brien's done his achilles by the way - not sure how bad it is, but he offered to walk off and was told to lie still and get carried off.
  9. He picked something up and put it in his pocket when Zemmama brought his attention to it. Thought we were rotten today, nothing at the back at all, no-one interested in the middle of the park - I'm surprised it took Gannon so long to hook Coke, thought he was terrible today. They had a game plan for us and they played it brilliantly - today showed how dependent we've been on O'Brien the last few weeks, as he was marked out the game by 3 of their players for the most part. A bad day at the office for us and a brilliant performance by Hibs - we'll bounce back next week against Falkirk, of that I have no doubt.
  10. He scored against St Johnstone in the Cup on Tuesday night mate, so it would seem likely. I'm going for 3-2 'well. Jimbo, Sutton and Yassin (he's bound to score soon the way he's playing just now).
  11. You, being negative? Blimey, I'd never have thought it...
  12. On Sportscene results mate, I heard it too!
  13. Also - wonder how much they'll be fined for their beautiful rendition of "Who's the f*nian in the black"?
  14. Disappointed with a point today, but disgusted with the way that the Rangers fans reacted to the penalty - particularly those in the Main Stand behind our disabled section - spitting, coin tossing and all sorts of threats being hurled down on them. To make matters worse, a fan of ours complained about it to the police and was promptly told to either leave with this son (wheel-chair bound) or be arrested. Disgraceful.
  15. Thought the atmosphere today was cracking, had the hairs standing on the back of my neck at one or two points when the whole stadium was singing - I even spotted the Main Stand clapping along to a few songs.
  16. Thought the subs did alright, although Humphrey badly needs to take a first touch before crossing - two or three times he tried a first time cross and rattled it into the stand. Jennings did ok, although he looked lost when he was in-front of the Killie box. Slane did well, had some good runs and brought in some pace when Jim was flagging a bit. MOTM has to go to Jimbo though, thought he was excellent during the first half in particular and definitely should've scored in the second half.
  17. Cross came in from the left, no-one marking Hammill and he lobbed it about 20ft over Ruddy. Not much the big man could've done about it really. Although I saw that from the Davie Cooper, so someone closer might've had a better look at it.

    Paul Mcgrillen

Yet another 'Well legend taken too young. RIP.
  19. What about the kid McAlister(sp?) from Morton that McGhee was so keen on..?
  20. Don't you have another pressing engagement anyway?
  21. They've got Zaluska and some American Under-23 international coming in, though.
  22. I fair enjoyed the Wednesday night in the square... I don't think I bought a drink that night after midnight. Eating a horse steak was interesting - was actually quite tasty! Smashin' way to spend your 21st.
  23. That signature is awesome.

So just don't buy one? I didn't buy a home strip for a good number of years on the bounce - I still wear my old Motorola and FlyZoom strips the matches. It doesn't say anywhere that you have to buy a new strip every season, does it? It won't make you any more/less of a supporter, and if anyone slags you for having an out of date strip they're quite clearly fuckwits of the highest order.
