Yeah, I was quite excited going Into the summer and with ATS being one of, if not the first signing it started well, we needed a proper left back and think he could finally replace Stevie Hammell, but since them we just seem to have added bodies rather than strengthening the team. We’ve not really offloaded anyone but just added umpteen centre halves and centre mids who we don’t really appear to need.

This is true, but he showed enough around that time to warrant some patience. Hearts fan in work was absolutely slating Sammon, I was hoping he’d be like John Sutton (shite at hearts, good for us), but seems optimistic based on the reviews of his performances so far.

I wasn’t at the game on Saturday, but based on the highlights Main looked like he was involved in everything up front and on another day could’ve had 2 or 3 goals. I don’t think he managed anything on target, but if he gets a goal or 2 he’ll be off.

Not seen any word on ticket prices for this? Read they were charging Killie £24/16 today.

Just on the Hibs kit, their white and Green Away kit probably clashes with Celtics green and grey hoops more than their home kit, making it completely redundant.... The Ross County has a hint of the Union Jack about the pattern. Not quite as bad as the fake Rangers one though. (I actually saw a family wearing those yesterday, think they’d maybe been at the walk.)

You also have to remember our hardcore support of 4000 isn’t the same 4000 every week. Probably 2500 go to every home game, maybe another 1000 go regularly, then you could have your other 500-1000 at any given game from a pool of maybe 3000+ fans. Say you actually have around 7-8000 who attend fir park at some point through a season, they’ll all make the effort for a cup final, but for all the reasons mentioned can’t commit to 20+ games a season.
